Let's face it, the PS2's done for. We all know the PS3 is coming out in 2005 anyway. The PS2 has another mabye half a year of greatness left, and one gaming title will spur it, Gran Turismo 4. It will be the apex of everything the PS2 can do and what it's acomplished. It's got the Gran Turismo simulation, and from what I saw in EGM, a little PGR tossed in. This will be the last attempt at making the PS2 great, and it'll be remebered the most after the PS2's eventuall demise.

I don't agree with GT being it's LAST game, but I believe it will be one of them. The game looks gorgeous so far. In fact, they are the best looking screens of any game I've ever seen. I'm a big fan of GT, and none have dissapointed yet. Let's hope that this one doesn't break that cycle.

You misunderstood me. I said this would be the last GREAT game, not the last game period.
I disagree. Gran Turismo 3 didn't match my expectations. I expected it to be a sequel to GT2, one of the greatest games ever, but it wasn't even close. From what I have seen and read so far, GT4 will be the actuall GT2 sequel.

Oh... I see. I guess you learn something new everyday. I liked GT3, but had no idea it was supposed to be a GT2 sequel. Either way, I stick with my previous post, I still think it looks great.

There are still a lot of RPGs coming out for PS2. I've heard Square-Enix is scheduled to release 20 games in the next business year. There's probably going to be one more GTA before PS2 is over. There are going to be more first person shooters, too, and some of them are going to be good. There a lot more games coming to the ps2 before 2005 and I'm sure that GT4 isn't going to be the only good one.
