Okay, well to get some real debates going, I just want to know how you guys feel about weed, Now, just because some of you smoke it doesnt mean say "Make it legal!" but I know you are anyway....   Here are my thoughts on it--- Okay, if weed is so bad, why has NO ONE died from doing it too much? Why is it that the commercials ALWAYS have to do with driving and weed. If you drive while under the influence of anything, then your a moron. Period. So, the only thing they have against weed is that it is deadly while driving? So is fucking alchohol. Now, alchohol, It does pretty much the same thing as weed, except that its a liquid. Alchohol is legal, yet if you drink too much you die. Yet weed is illegal, and if you smoke to much...uhh, nothing happens. Just because you smoke weed it doesnt mean you are going to go drive a car. Again, just because you drink, it doesnt mean you are going to drive. Its even more of chance that you will drive with alchohol because you get it from stores, bars, partys, which you end up having to DRIVE home. Now weed on the other hand, you buy it, then go the fuck home. Its a simple concept to just to go home, which most do because smoking weed as soon as you get it would be stupid, you would get pulled over, just as if you were drinking a beer while driving. See my point yet? Continuing..... The government made weed illegal because no big U.S. company grows it, meaning that if when weed first was "discoverd" if it was discoverd in the U.S. and a big company developed like the alchohol companys did, it sure as hell would be legal, just like cigarette companys. What is even more amazing, cigarrettes are legal, yet they cause a hella lot more damge than weed, they are addicting, they cause lung cancer, and a whole mess of other deadly shit. Did no one see that truth commercial but me? A whole box of grapes were thrown away because they had 2% cyanide, yet ONE ciggarette has 32x more cyanide and they havent done anything with them and they are STILL legal. Its bullshit, just because the economy gets better because of it, doesnt mean that a item that kills people should be legal, thats like making rat poison into a drink for people to use, just because it helps the economy. K, Im done. |

Very good points Tokin... My feelings on weed are pretty much the same In my opinion Weed will be legal within the next 20 - 30 years... look at alchohol.. It got banned for a while, then made it's come back (prohibition time period) |

Come to Toronto...... it's all good here  . It's not perfectly leagel because you can and will be fined for it, but who really cares when people are selling them at stores .

haha, yeah... I got friends up there. Anyways, I think if the American population was smart enough to handle themselves that weed (or anything else) should be legal. However, the population is too goddamn stupid to save themselves, which is the reason why the government does such things. Are they right by doing so? I don't know, all I know is that if we're stupid enough to hurt oursleves by during harmful things such as drinking too much, or driving under the influence of anything, then we're too stupid to handle it. Of course, if weed was legal then all of the stupid people would likely end up and getting themselves killed, so there'd be only us... um... not, dumbasses left

Weed does cause worse effects that cigs tho, by smoking one joint you smoek 1 pack of filtered cigs... consider that too.. It should def. be legal, and I agree with everypoint that Tok was discussing. |

| I think that if legalized you should have to apply for a license to smoke it, that way it would keep people who have no business smoking it from doing so. |

That would never work, simply because cops and others whos job it is to uphold the law would have no idea who has a license to smoke and who doesn't, and with all the people smoking they couldn't check everyone; for example, cops can't pull over every teenager because they think he might not have his/her driver's license yet. A weed-smoking license would never happen. |

| I myself think pot should be allowed. Half the reason it was outlawed was because in the 30's some cotton farmers were mad because they thought hemp was a terrible competition. I myself do not smoke, but it sure as hell would COPS alot less exciting if weed was allowed in America. |
