Should there be Capitol Punishment?
I think so. I don't think we should use it on ever single person that comes through yet for the case of that sniper in VA, I think we should fry his ass and not have to worry about that any more (set an example out of him for any other sick fool out there). But for most cases I say we stick their asses in prison and let them rot away.

Agree completly with it because i am all about an eye for an eye. I believe if you have the balls or stupidity to take someone else's life then you should be ready to have yours taken also.

Well let's put it this way... if you had a choice between life in prison and death, wouldn't you choose death? Maybe not right away but the idea would look real good real soon.

I would choose life in prison anyday! you know that people get out of many many many years for good time, doing stuff for the warden, taking school, etc etc... you can chop off about 10-15 years for that kinda shit... it's so pitiful... i say we string all the murders up by their toe nails, skin them alive, cut open their stomache and let their intestines hang out all infront of their face, and let them bleed to death!

There are also tons of innocent people convicted of murders they didn't commit.
And several known cases of innocent people put to death for a murder they had nothing to do with.
The more death penalties - the more innocent lives lost.
Other than that, I'm all for eye for an eye.
Also I live in the city that the SNiper Trials are taking place in, people act like its a big deal, It doesn't affect me so I could give a shit.

I like the death penelty, but I would rather see
them suffer in jail, but then it cost money for the
tax payers, so I' am all for the death penelty, we
don't like some one we kill them!!!

death penalty saves the cost to host prisoners... imagine, 1000 prisoners staying in a prison. how much is their one year accomodation cost (prisoners dont pay lol)?? x their sentence years.... that would make a country brankrupt...

I acctually did a study on the cost of keeping people in jail or giving them the death penelty, and acctualy if they stay in prison 25 years then it costs LESS then if they stay in prison 5 years and get the death penelty
they have to pay for the high security of death row, the doctors who administer the injection, AND *onlly in death penelty cases* they have to pay for a funeral type deal! (incase you didn't knwo the average funeral no days costs a TON of money)

It may be true in The States but its a totaly different story here in asia (china especially)...
They fires and thas the end for the prisoner, dig a hole, put up a tombstone, and lost forever...

some big cases will be made public. what communist does usually is secret execution, dont be surprised, it still happens now behind the prison walls but not as often as the past...
Sometimes goverment officials will do an arrest around midnite and just throws you into prison if you did a crime -without early notices, then if it is a big one then you will be executed....

The country (china) cant support them lol... they just kill em and bury them.
Ever a case in Spore... An old man doesnt want to comes out from a prison... lol... the judge found him not guilty and the old man said "you motha fu*ker judge,kiss ya mums ass" to the judge... and the judge have no choice but to jail him.. free food and shelter there for him...
