First of all I want to thank you to all you loyal fans who are still prepared to believe the bullsh!t we are putting out. Even though our last patch took 2 years to come out we know we can still count on you, Warcraft fans, to assume the word "soon" means in a few weeks time. Although everyone else has realised it's going to be at least well into 2004 if not mid-late 2004 and have given up on Blizzard. We know we can count on you to stick around waiting for us to make tiny balance changes on the excuse that we're making a major new single player campaign even though nobody cares about it. We know we can bank on you to buy and pay to support WoW and SC:Ghost and forget about the patching debacle. Blizzard is fortunate to be blessed with such a solid fanbase, were most other companies would be being ripped to pieces by their users and so many complaints would be pouring in there would be parodies of Blizzard all over the internet. Instead no, far from being critical you vigoursly defend us tearing into anyone who suggests we are less than perfect. Without your continued help and support we might have to take our support seriously and get off our arses a LOT more often (and who wants to do that). Instead we can continue to be the only company in the computer business that employs 2 chimps to do our support, making us a truly equal opportunities employer. So a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you I look forward to letting you know the patch is "Nearly complete" in March.
