is it worth it? i don't think it is cuz d2 is a great rpg and u don't have to pay to play so what can't other co. shell out the money to keep up a free server or two |

| i dont see why blizzard cares so much about battle.net because you dont have to pay u know??? |

Mos. Def! Its worth it 100%, and if we paid to play Diablo II, there wouldnt be another dupe out there (not that there is now), and people like me wouldnt get as rich as they are. |

| that's what they ought to do.... set up a pay server and put soooo much security in it!!! |

Well I think the only RPGs that have monthly fees are MMORPGs. Those are much better then D2, and are usually worth it (or at least in the case of Lineage and DAoC) |

| their server are usually mainained well.. less lags and etc.. |

I don't like mmorpgs like UO. they patch and revampt to much.. take D2, it patches, but does it change game style? a little, does it try everything it can to maintain balance, yes, does it make new items? yes, is this a good thing, imo, yes Uo for instance Redid entire pvp system redid entire combat system adds new races and integrates with all existing characters, meaning that characters that took 3-4 years to make are now worthless, and can not be fixed Added new lands that are not available to some, and added some lands that robbed some chars (like PKs) access to Changed housing system, getting rid of the art of house looting i'm a little ticked :/ I would pay monthly for D2, at the moment anyway |

| I play DAoC and i have to say, its most definately worth the cash. |

If Blizzard charged, you would get this: - Realms wouldnt go down... nearly AT ALL. - 24/7 Support (Yes, thats /7, not /5) - Patches daily preventing maphacks, dupes, etc. - Stronger Account Protection - New items/crafted/etc - More quests (possibly), story line, etc. Would be more fun + worth it. |

Considering the fact that after God-knows-how-long battle.net is up running still many are playing and enjoying the game, i say d2 is one of the best online rpg ( its a totally different story when you are 1337 already ). If blizz was to upgrade it, with the extra income of course, the game would be even better and more challenging. |

It gets boring when you are extremly rich, and you can kill 90% of people. They should ramify the game so it is good for the leet players too V_v. |

I'd say it would be worth it there would be less hackers and that would equal in alot more fun |

| the problem is .. is that they would be greedy and like gunbound would let you pay money to buy items and some rich fag would come and buy everything... but what gunbound does is the best items you have to earn and not allowed to buy with cash so i think that is what blizzard would do |

That could make up for the fees to upgrade and maintanance which I think would be fruitfull. Agrees with taco. I got bored with sc entirely, too easy and no more challenge v_V |
