Anyone who usues BBFree, IBfree, or any of that shit and expects members to join is a total dumbass. Get a fucking domain! Do you really think people are gonna take your forums seriously if yiu sign up there? The LEAST you could do is make a site to go along with it. No effort whatsoever. Ok, PWNED!

People will join... take my site for example althought it's about to be tore down lol... I have almost 50 members now! You just have to advertise it places instead of sitting on your ass and not doing anything!
it gives a great introduction into IPB and you could/should use the advertising techniques at any of your future sites....

and those who don't have enough money to get there own doman and pay month to month it is a great site for beginners to learn how to start up. think about other things than just pop and members u have to think finance also so shut up

Uhh, anyone notice the jump in number of forums since BF first went up? Since around that time kids have been dying to get their own forums to be "cool" like the admins on big forums, there are too many run off forums around, and most of them die. =\
