tools needed: Wally Download Wally Here a pic an image editor (photoshop,paintshop pro...etc) for bitmaps: -open your image in the editor of your choice edit the pic as you wish with effects,etc..DO NOT add text this will be done later(this is because if you add text now when the pic is resize so will the text and may become unreadable) -resize your image to a premitted size.A permitted size is dividable by 16 and the height*width is less than 10752 pixels (eg. If you're image is 128pixels wide and 64pixels high = 8192pixels = permitted (128/16= 8 and 64/16=4). 128*64 is also the most common resolution. -now add your text -save the image as .bmp and exit your image editor -Open Wally -select new from the file menu -under type scroll down till you have this (Half-Life Package [wad3] (.wad) then cick ok -hit ctrl+o (open) find your .bmp image and select it -you image may be streched don't worry it should be...right click on your image and choose copy...then right click on shaded area of you new project and choose paste as new -yuor spray is ready,if some of the colors are not correct you can fix them with the color palette on the right -choose save-as under the file menu Locate your cstrike directory and save the file under the name pldecal overwrite the exsisting file it is a good idea to backup your image and save it somewhere else also in case you enter customize and delete it this just saves you from having to do it all over again for jpegs: -open your image in the editor of your choice edit the pic as you wish with effects,etc..DO NOT add text this will be done later(this is because if you add text now when the pic is resize so will the text and may become unreadable) -resize your image to a premitted size.A permitted size is dividable by 16 and the height*width is less than 10752 pixels (eg. Just type in your Counter-Strike folder instead), select which mod you're making a spray for (cstrike). Under "Source Image" choose "File on hard drive" and browse to the place you saved it. Press OK and Wally will turn the JPEG into a .wad file. -choose "Save As" under "File". Your "cstrike" folder is chosen, press save overwrite the exsisiting file.. -Now your CS spray is set to the color decal you just made it is a good idea to backup your image and save it somewhere else also in case you enter customize and delete it this just saves you from having to do it all over again Note: for cs 1.6 players may have to save file as tempdecal.wad c:Steam/steamapps/(acct name)/counterstrike/cstrike or wherever steam is installed if anyone has any problems let me know and i'll help you |

| I wouldve hoped you couldve added a section for putting gifs up... and for all you newbs YES it is possible ... so if u find a good guide to help people do it could u plz edit teh post? |
