Let's set this straight.. the following is the truest statement you will Ever read in your entire life.. burn it into your brain's enzymes. You can do anything you can imagine, and things that you cannot, on the internet and computer. Some things just arn't worth the hassle. Why is it so easy to do things on open/bnet? because your editing the information stored on a known server, your personal computer. Why is it so difficult to do things on closed b.net? because you would have to bypass, crack, and edit information on battle.net's servers, and this is presumeing that you can isolate a single server, crack the protection, find the correct file for your particular transmissions, edit the exact things you need to, resend it, force the save, exit, and do all of this in the span of.. negative time..not really.. but a very infitesmal (small) amount of time. Now, wait, before some smartass says "but theres these map-hacks and bots and shit, and the people that made them said there easy" Yep, there sure are, but those are client side programs or client-imitating programs, period. Maphack for instance, it does not break into b.nets servers, its a client side program, therefore it was easy to work, although it has bnet server packet decryption and what have you, it does not violate bnets server security. ----- You could theoretically create items or edit your own, on closed bnet, but let's face it, for those of you who actually know anything about hacking (not scripting but hacking), then this doesnt apply to you because you already know this. But to all you other people, who just want stuff done for you instead of doing it yourself, or who are actually innocent of this, and are just curious, or don't know who things work... this just isn't worth it. The actions you would have to do, to do this, are inconsistent with the reward you would get if successful. I can't even do it if I WANTED to, because I don't know how, but I do know that the individuals out there who can do it, because they have the skill, also agree that it's not worth it. HackingBnetServers<Timetodoit As I mentioned above, the steps you would have to take are one thing, the time you would have to do another thing, but companies like Blizzard are like the Federal government, nomatter how much you rag on them, nomatter how good you think you are, they will have something you don't know about that will anal fuck you when you try to cheat them. GRRRRR :::had a bad day::: |

| ya things like that are possible just that no one really wants to take the time to do it and risk getting caught and getting sued or being ip banned or something and it prob takes too damm long also i understand about having bad day logic=) |
