I'm not going to go through the prices, but check out Gameservers.net and click on prices. There's all sorts of things we could do. The thing about getting, say a 10 player private (passworded) server, is yes, its $20 a month. But thats it. and only 10 players. Thing about getting a dedicated ($100 a month), is we could have 4 or 5 or even 20 (if we wanted to, but we won't) servers. This means we could have a CTF server, where its nothing but CTF over and over, with map cycle. Another for CTF/TDM rotation, maybe INF if members wanted it, with map rotation, a sniper server, nothing but High_wire_2 and TDM/DM, and another for clan use only Taco is having finance trouble, and I doubt any other admin would want to step up and front the bill. I might be able to scrounge a $20 for a single server, but it'd only be a 10 player max, passworded game. As for getting the dedicated (which you can tell is what i want), I would need donations. That's all there is to it. Post what your thoughts are. |

| If i start playing on a regular basis ill try to lend a few bucks in... but heh im 13 i cant pay montly ... sorry but thats the way i feel... though a dedicated server is pretty nice to have and if we have 7 peeps in a clan a 10 man server gonna suck =X but if its affordable its fine wit me =) |

If I could afford it for you guys, I could hook up a dedicated server -- but at this moment there is no way I can afford that. I say go with a 10 person pub. Even tho thats pretty damn expensive. Check http://www.DOTSIMPLE.com for some better plans. |

No, the only max on it is 64 because thats what SOF will allow, if SOF had no limit, we could theoretically have a 1000 player server. There is no player max on a dedicated, and ontop of that, like I said, we could have multiple servers for that once price. |

Sorry to reply to this, but I really have to add my two cents in here. $100 a month is just too expenisve for anyone. I can't believe people actually voted for that one. If I were you, I would get a 10-16 man private server, and if you want to make it public just put the password into the server name. That's how we do it on UT. Also, Gameservers.net is horrible. I was pinging like 150 average there |

Please do not post here anymore. The server I am purchasing has already been decided, you can read about it at our website. |
