I just bought my car less then a month ago, and it started craping out on me. Well, I was driving in automatic, and it started to slip. I was accelerating, and it jumped to 7,000 RPMs!
So, I switched it into semi-manual, and drove to work (and around) for two days. I talked with my father, and he said it was the transmission. Well, we take it to Aamco and they check it out - remove it, blah blah blah. After doing tests they come up with an estimate and a diagnosis:
Estimate: 2900$ Diagnosis: The entire transmission is totally ruined. It is beyond repairable.
I need to get a whole new fucking transmission now. Fucking christ -- no sound system of rims for me. Fuck.

Dude. You have an american-made-truck. My car is a german car, thus it costs (on average) 3x for EVERYTHING. Instead of 40 dollars an hour (for an average car/truck), its 155$ an hour.
Not only that, but I have to use the 2nd level gas! Im soo fucking screwed!

I have to use the highest grade of gas because I have a high combustion engine, and you need to do like I did... find a good back ally mechanic, get to know him well... use him for a few years. Then when you get to where I am you don't have to pay for hours... you just pay for parts

that's true. That's what my friend has done. At the 4x4 parts shop he's bought so much shit for him he gets 40% off. And some free parts. They love him there.
