Seem to be less and less players now. With more decent games coming out the community is spread over morel.
When UT came out there were only a few real contenders, now there are many. It just doesnt seem to be the same as it did a few years ago.
Will this be the end of the line for the series for a while? I doubt if Epic can bleed more money out of this title.
The buzz of ONS seems to have worn off.

this will be the last for a years, there are alot of players in UT2004 and everyone from 2003 and UT1 seems to be coming round to 1004 now
unreal enigne3 is supposed to be ready in around2 years so i think that once U3 is ready we will see another UT game using that engine

Damn dude -- that kinda sucks. In a way its good that they arnt running the UT franchise down to the ground.
If they kept releasing pretty much the same version over and over, people would loose interast - and too much money!
Im pretty excited the the next engine, the current ones amazing as is, an I cant even imagine the next one!

this should help ya imagine the next engine -> http://www.unrealtechnology.com/html/technology/ue30.shtml
i think its good that they are letting 2004 have a few years to go at it (if they do that) UT1 had 4years before 2003 was released and was by far the most populor of them all so hopefully 2004 can grow to be as big as UT1 was
