post here the series and a brief description of it...NO SPOILERS ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I strongly recommend 2 shows... - naruto - scrapped princess - naruto because the character development and overall plot are great . In a concealed village, a young man hides within a bunch of leaves. His name is Uzumaki Naruto, a mischievous boy attending Ninja Academy. Everyday, he does nothing but cause mischief and making Iruka-sensei mad. And above all, it's doubtful that he'll be able to graduate from the Academy. But Naruto has a dream... A dream that he'll become the head of the Ninja village, following Hokage and will become the best ninja around. However, all the adults in the village give Naruto cold looks. The truth is, Naruto has a secret about his birth. 12 years ago, "Kyuubi no Youko" (Nine Tailed Fox - A kind of evil spirit who tormented the village, was sealed within Naruto's body who was, at the time, a baby. The head of the academy, Mizuki, uses Naruto to steal the "Fuujin Scrolls" and makes Naruto understand his past. Naruto is outraged. Even with Iruka's help, Naruto just barely defeats Mizuki. Knowing Naruto's secret, Iruka knows Naruto will meet someone who'll help him and so, makes a decision. Naruto is allowed to graduate safely from Ninja Academy. Along with his classmates, Uchiwa Sasuke and Haruno Sakura together, they make their first step as Ninjas! (Thanks to www.animenfo.com for this description) Personally I was addicted to the series along with many of my friends on the very first episode...regretfully Im not sure how much more I can say on this series because I don't want to give too much away... but it is definately a series worth checking out - scrapped princess because the plot the best ive ever seen in all the anime ive watched along with some sweet action. An abandoned princess buried into darkness right after birth, she was prophesied to destroy the world at the age of 16. This, though the truth, was forbidden to be spoken by anyone in this country. The so-called "abandoned princess" was in fact, the youngest of the three "Casull" siblings, by the name of Pacifica. Assassins come forth one after another to take her life which was not supposed to be in existence. Shannon and Raquel swore to protect their sister from the wicked hands of the assassins. (thanks to www.animenfo.com for this description) Edit by logic. Things in red. First, naruto owns mizuki, while iruka was sitting against a tree holding himself. This is the same summation given on almost all naruto download websites, and everybody seems to just copy it, just want everyone to know, naruto kicks miz's ass, by himself. Also, its Uchiha, not uchiwa. |

I strongly recommend the same two that proach put down and thought I'd throw down a few of my favorites as well. - 3x3 Eyes - Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex - Full Metal Panic & Full Metal Panic Fumoffu (sequel) - "3x3 eyes" is in my opinion a very underated and hidden show. This is probably thanks to the length of episodes (only 4 for the original, and 3 for the follow up), and it's lack of flashy, modern drawings. However in it's short story the anime manages to bring you to feel very connected to the characters, and by the end it leaves you craving more. Pai is the last of the Sanjiyan -- a magical race of 3-eyed creatures, and she comes in search of Tokyo high-school student Yakumo with news of his father's death and hopes of becoming human. After a fatal accident, Pai is forced to absorb Yakumo's soul to keep him from dying, making him an undead creature bound to her. Their journey to make Pai human becomes complicated with dark forces seeking to stop them, especially when Pai's crueler nature emerges... (Thanks to www.animenfo.com for this description) - "Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex" is similiar to the movie it was based on, but with a lot of differences. It's set in a different "dimension" with no puppetmaster but section 9 is unchanged. The series is set more in the style of Cowboy Bebop with episodes seemingly unconnected but all leading to a dramatic finale. In addition the general feel of the anime is different (there are some very calm moments unlike the movie), and the loads of gratuitous nudity are finally gone (some like it, some don't). In the future, life between the digital and physical world has been blurred. The boundary of technology and humanity has been stretched beyond imagination with lives being led in both the electronic and physical worlds. With the melding of man and machine – a new cybernetic level of existence is being created - An existence that continues to redefine mankind. (Thanks to www.animenfo.com for this description) - "Full Metal Panic" is the most diverse show I've seen in my life. This show has absolutely everything. One minute they'll be making a joke about a guy accidently ending up on a girls balcony holding a pair of her underwear and the next they'll be in the middle of a battlefield in Palestine waging a bloody war for the fate of the world. It sounds like a horrible transition but surprisingly it is pulled off almost seemlesly. Among the genres of this anime are action, sci-fi, comedy, mecha, schoolkids, and more. The sequel, "Full Metal Panic Fumoffu" is based solely on the comedy aspect of the first one and is also a very good show if you enjoyed the comedy of its prequel. Sagara Sousuke is an elite soldier who belongs to an independent special force named "Mithril". Mithril is a self appointed military force that fights terrorism across the globe. With technology that is far superior to that of normal nations, Mithril intercedes on behalf of justice. Sagara, a Second Lieutenant under Mithril's command, is assigned to the duty of protecting a girl named Kaname Chidori, who attends high school in Japan. To accomplish this task, he pretends to be a transfer student attending at Kaname's school. As Sagara settles into his new role as classmate, a massive plot unfolds beginning with the kidnapping of Chidori. What is Chidori's role in the conspiracy? Why does she seem to be born with knowledge of technology that has only been recently invented? (thanks to www.animenfo.com for this description) |
