Maybe. Yeah, so the once GameCube exclusive collection thing (though that doesn't make much sense because the games were on Genesis and then ported to Saturn. Then doorbells rang all over the world) is now getting the PlayStation 2 treatment. Like, over a year later. But it'll have more stuff, hence the PLUS whacked onto the end of the title! Those that have been living in a can of tuna for the past year and a bit will be happy to know that the GameCube version consisted of; Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehaaawwg 2 Sonic the Hedge 3 Sonic and Knuckles Sonic 3D Sonic Spinball Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Puyo Pop) As well as some other unlockable games. It also had bonus stuff like comic scans, movies, artwork. Things. Sega haven't actually announced what will make this port so extra fantastic, though. The obvious thing would be to include Sonic CD, that'd be rad. Including the hi-res opening and closing FMV's in the GameCube version and then being too lazy to emulate the actual game was a very stinky move by Sonic Team. There's also some rumours zooming around the Internet on Internet brooms that all the Game Gear games that were found in Sonic Adventure DX will also make it onto Sonic Mega Collection Plus. Kinda ruins the 'Mega' part of the title. MORE LIKE SONIC SORTA MEGA GEARED COLLECTION PLUS AM I RIGHT. If Sonic CD does actually make it onto the disc, I'll get it with gusto. That game rocked rocks. I'd also like to see Knuckles Chaotix on there, too. Any of you people things interested in this? What Sonic related goodness would you like to see included? A free Sonic wrist watch that always runs fast? I know I would! =O |
