Due to the large success of Playstation 2, partly due to its backwards compatibility, Playstation 3 has announced that it will be backwards compatable with Playstation 2 and PSone! If you arnt allready getting the PS3 (you crazy xbox/nintendo fans!), does this change your opinion? If you allready plan on purchasing it, does it make you more ancious? |

Well, that's not surprising. (The backwards capability) It doesn't sway my opinion at all. I will not be purchasing it. I do not want some psuedo-PC. What IS surprising, is the hefty sum they're charging. I'll have to sell my left nut AND soul to purchase this machine of Satan. I mean come on, who would pay $800 for a CONSOLE with a DVD-Writer, HDD, and various other crap. I'd rather just have a PC. It's bad enough I'm typing this up on a Commodore64. Have an elephant!

I don't think eight hundred dollars is worth it for any console. I am happy with the graphics, games, and everything else on my PlayStation2. Also, I would have to mow alot of lawns to get that kind of money.  Maybe I will get it when Playstation5 comes out.
