Try checking Google for the Blaster worm. Or save yourself the trouble and format. Or, if you really wanna save yourself the trouble and the rest of us... Blow out your brains like Kurt Cobain. Thanks, Your favourite washed up TV celebrity, Bob Saget x0x0x |

| Yeah, that sounds like blaster to me. My question is this: why haven't you gotten your computer protected against that a year ago? Get Norton AV and a firewall. And update your windows more than once in 3 years. |

www.downloads.com has some nice programs to fix your computer... But ultimately, I'd reformat my drive if I were you. |

I know scuba, his computer is beyond fixing. It takes ten minutes just to get on! I don't think a reformat is the answer, I think that it is time for a new computer. You don't use it too much, except for the internet. Get a new Dell that will suit your needs. It shouldn't cost that much if you don't play too many games on it. Then you might want to consider getting a faster internet service. |

Pants, you can shut up now. You know what Scuba runs. You should try to help him out. Ralcore, If you think you can fix it, Scuba runs XP Home Edition. His computer is very slow when it starts up. Sometimes when you try to log on, the computer restarts for no reason. If you can log on, it is very slow. I think it might be some sort of virus, but I am not sure. If you have any suggestions as to fixing it, I can help Scuba do what you say. EDIT:I will try to go over his house soon. Then I can find out some more information about his computer. |

TMaC, This forum needs a little humor. You dont need to be so offensive like that! |

Humor is a good thing Pants, you are correct. However, I was trying to help Scuba get his computer fixed. That isn't really a funny situation. If you want humor, post something funny. |
