What do you think of the PlayStation 2 controller? How do you think it compares to the controllers of other consoles? I personally like the controller, but I have never used a controller from another console. Post what you think about the PlayStation 2 controller.

I dunno.... Thed Gamecube controller fits your grip perfectly. The PS2 one is small. The XBox (S controller) has the perfect places for the buttons.....

I've played with all of them so many times, they are all easy to use for me. However, using the GCN controller would be the easiset for you to use, because it's small like the PS2 one. wink.gif

Well TMaC I think the PS2 controller is so much better than the Xbox controller because it's smaller than an Xbox controller. One time i was a t my frinds house. Were were playin Halo, and I sucked because the controller was way to big. My hands arn't used to crap that big. I'm not if they ever will be.

How do you use the Gamecube controller? It seems to me like there isn't enough buttons. Also, they are scattered all over the place on the controller. The X-Box one looks cool except for the fact that it is huge, but the Gamecube one looks confusing. I like the simplicity of the Playstation 2 controller.

To be honest I think that the Gamecube controllers are fine I just really hate the Xbox controllers. I mean thats the only reason I suck at so many Xbox games. Still PS2 controllers are the best in my opinion. This is what I looked like when I first got my PS2. party-smiley-017.gif

The PS2 ands GCN one are actually both pretty easy to adapt to, XBox was the hardest, but it is possible. wink.gif

It helps that the buttons are spread out, so you don't accidently hit the wrong one. They are all within reach, however. wink.gif

I like the dualshock playstation controllers, I don't have to stretch to reach any buttons
& it fits my grip-style pretty well...

the cube controller is slightly more comfortable to hold than the dualshock
(think they made the A button big enough?...lol)

xbox.... I've only ever used the original big controller... it feels more like a steering wheel than a gamepad-controller... don't like it...

If you look at the difference between the PS2 and Gamecube controllers, there isn't really a big one.

The only differences are that the names of the buttons and placing. Also, the left and right analog instead of the c-stick and control pad. Then, there is R1 and R2 and L1 and L2. Then there is Z on Gamecube.

The feeling for me with the Gamecube and PS2 controller is the same for me.

Its simple. Gets the job done. The best controller is the GameCubes controller, then Playstation, and in a close third the Xbox constroller.

The main think I dislike about the GameCube controller (kinda off topic), is that it doesnt have dual analouge sticks. So it makes FPS's really annoying. The playstation is the standard for most games, considering alot are ported over from PS2 to the other systems.

FPS are the only thing I play on a PS2, so I don't play them much on Gamecube. So it doesn't bother me much. wink.gif
