I have everything from Nina Simone to System Of A Down to Eminem to Darude on my computer. I can listen to anything, anytime. I have a playlist, and it plays what ever is on.

I don't like rap at all. I'm more of a rocker myself. I listen to alternative rock in the car, but when I'm at the computer, I often times listen to music from various video games. I have quite a few video game albums, including a metal remix album of Final Fantasy battle themes.

I list to everything, but I go in phases.

Currently, i'm on this country thing, im an all time-rocker though.

I dont know, i'v always been a drummer so I like good beats.

I am not a 'fanatic' of rap, but rap usually has better beats and rhythem to it then rock and anything else, excluding certain techno styles.

From a bassist's perspective, Rap takes very little musical tallent, so theres not much there to interrest me. I dont really like what they sing about, although some of the R&B shit is ok. I mostly like Rock, and some techno...anything with a good bass line, and a beat that makes you hit the gas pedal a bit harder

I guess Rap is alright but it doesn't suck. I mostly listen to Rock though. I am not really crazy about Techno but I don't like all the songs with it.

If you actually think about it, Rap does take very little musical talent. The only thing is that you have to have the rhythm in order to put the words in. The words can be about "gangsta" stuff or it can be about poetry with what happened in their recent lives or with other things that don't involve guns, drugs, weapons, and gangs.

Reason rap sucks now days, is because it is all the same thing, and I can listen to ten rappers and they all sound alike. Lots of really stupid beats, and a lot of "WHUT WHUT, UHH! UHHH!"

I liked rap alot back when Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were the original bad boys, now it's all nonsense. It all went downhill with 2pac.

I might on occasion spin some Beastie Boys, but mostly i'm about rock n' roll. There are days when I might spin some blues, but mostly the old stuff.
