End of a Season
The Diablo II 1.10 Ladder Season 1 will soon come to an end and Blizzard would like to thank all the players -- New, Returning and Veteran alike -- for making this a great Season. As a special treat to reward the Top Players from around the world, we will be immortalizing the Top 10 Expansion and Expansion Hardcore Characters in each of the 7 Classes on the Blizzard website. That's 140 players from each Realm!
Season 1 Ladder Characters will be moved to their own 1.10+ population when the season ends. Be sure to check back here for details on future Ladder Seasons.

I knew it was coming soon.. So whens the deadline?when are they gonna add in season 2? That sucks that season 1 is not going to normal softcore. But items will be more rare which means prices will skyrocket. does that mean when season 1 retires.. items will change and rune upgrading will not be enabled in it?

Holy shit, i didn't think it was comming for a long time, then i heard from a friend it was ending today i nearly shit myself since i jsut started botting im so sad, i have to build to cahrs and start over since i hate that gay non ladder.

If they are following a schedule, the new season should start tomorrow on the 29th because the 1.10 patch came out November 29th which will be 8 months tomorrow. Ladder Season is 8 months long. I wonder if they are gonna change anything on how you log onto the new season because that could screw up how the bots function. I doubt it though.

No everything stays the same cept all the ladder people on ladder now convert to non ladder, and the ladder items fuse into the non ladder and a new ladder starts and there will be more cool ladder items on the second season of the ladder

Logic had some bad experienced. Blizzard promised they would help him with his B.net problem. 2 months go by, and Logic is in a insane silo, chanting: response in 24 hours!

Blizzard will give a warning early before the Ladder Season 2 begins.

And.....a post from blizard verifying the date.
First up, here's a post confirming that Bliz will give ample warning about the ladder reset before it happens. Secondly, this post on the War3 forums mentions the upcoming War3 patch, but also confirms that they are working on future D2 and SC patches as well. Bug fixes only in the future D2 patch, most likely.
So it is unlikely that it will be this week. Maybe at the end of July will it happen.
