My parents went to North Carolina. They were coming back and the truck fucked up. They brought it in this morning, they needed a new transmission and other stuff. It came up to 3,000 dollars. They started going again, and NOW it's leaking evrywhere.... and they still need to pack for vacation by Saturday..... Great.... I wonder if they'll ever get home.  Fucking Blazer is useless, all our cars (except our Corvette) are useless pieces of shit.
And now, I just got a call..... they don't know if we will be able to go on vacation.....
This day just fuckings sucks

You know what you need to do? STOP GOING TO USED CAR PLACES ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. Go to carmax to get an actual OK used car. Where did you buy your cars... south of the border?! Where do you live? North or south? Does it snow alot where you live?

i know i will get replys about this shit but. gmc, ford, and doge are pieces of shit, the only thing i would drive if i had the money would be, honda, they are reliable, or toyota. i have heird great things
ps: all blazers are shit man dont get em.

I don't think i would ever buy a foreign car. if I'm going to spend that much money on somthing, I'm not going to help out japan's economy, our economy is already bad enough..

I hear what you are saying platnum, but American cars suck..if you purchase the US version(Usually always slower because of the convertor and emission standards and al that shit that HP is sucked out of it) then it will help this economy...but you will still get a foreign car?

Personally, whatever fits the profile of the car I wanna buy, I'll buy.
If an American car can't reach those standards, I'll look to buying a European or Asian car. My point is, I don't give a fuck where this car came from. If it caters to my needs, it's good for me. Shitty economy, or not.

I had a 97' Blazer until 2002. The car was pretty reliable up until we crossed the 80,000 mile mark. The alternator, transmission, and suspension go really fast on those motherfuckers.
Then again, no car lasts forever. They're built this way on purpose. If a car lasted forever, nobody would buy cars in the future.

You have to care whee the car comes from. Don't support those foreign pieces of crap!! They have enough money; we don't have to help their economy. We should focus on our economy and how it is a piece of shit right now. Just what I think.

Yeh, our economy is crap, just like our cars.
We didn't buy this for much, my dad needs it for works, but orginally my grandfather bought it for us (My mom used to drive him around a lot, and he has trouble getting in cars lower to the ground). We also got it for the 4-wheel drive or whatever, because in the winter, it is hard to get around in our Subaru. (Which is also a piece of crap... don't get me started. The doors lock automatically if you open/close a door, and the A/C sucks)
AT - I have no fucking clue what you are flaming me for, unless your parents made shitty blazers or something. Yes, i live in massachusetts so it DOES snow here.
And, BTW, we didn't get this car used. It was brand new, and like Syth, it lasted a long time without giving us trouble.
