Hey guys lol... I'm a noob to cs although I have it for xbox. When I installed Half-Life onto my computer it went great! But then once I tried to go online, it says I needed an update. ok no problemo. Then once I went to update it, all the updates were out of date?  How can I fix this? I really would like to play...

ARe you trying to play Counterstike online or Half-life online? Do you want to play 1.5 (my favorite), or 1.6? Answer and I can help out a bitch more. |

| Go to seiraa.com (sorry for spelling) or go to where half life is installed on your computer go to Sieraa Software or something (i will get back to you on that) and then you go to updates. Then it will show you what needs to be updated and where to get it. Simple as that. |

I have no idea... Half-Life online. My friends play it and they told me to get it so I got it. Now I installed it and all the updates say "Oh its out of date and its not the right file-size" and it makes me close. Then the other update buttons say that they can't find the update. So I have no idea if its 1.5 or 1.6 lol. Which ever is more fun. I guess 1.5, I can always upgrade 1.6 if I need to correct? |

You cannot upgrade to 1.6 unless your playing CounterStrike. Currently 1.5 is the latest version of Half Life Online. |

Ok then 1.5... I keep getting this error even when I went to Sierra.com and got the update: Unable to find required file. Username and password do not match. Error connecting to ftp. Theres another but I can't think of it. I really would like to play this but its starting to piss me off  Thanks for the help btw.

Ok nevermind, my friend helped me get it working... We installed Steam on my computer and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks I guess... ~Lock if you would...
