ok... due to requests by many people... here is My Rant v2.0 about gV. Mods seem to take their jobs for granted most of the time. It seems as if SupMod's and Admin's do mod's jobs for them more then the mod's actually work. How about you guys get up and take a little fucking responsibilty! You also seem to walk around like you own the place sometimes too... of ALL the people that shouldn't make a shitty ass post... it's you. But of course you [UwantSum] prove me wrong. [You do seem to get a high post count when you actually post UwS, but guess what... most of the time your posts are SHIT. You either 1) leave NOTHING to reply to or 2) Piss everyone off so they won't reply. Clean it up man... - thier now your in my god damn rant... stop IMing me while I'm asleep]. I've seen a few posts by our mods [even sup mods] about how 'OMG I'M TAKING OVER #10 OVERALL YAAYYYY!' SHUT THE FUCK UP. You make me sick to my fucking stomach when I see a MOD post out in public about how your a bigger fucking spammer then someone else! Please please please shut the fuck up about shit like this out in public... keep this info in PM's or IM's. IM'ing is another thing that pisses me off. Yes I leave ALL my screennames open to you so that you can contact me. congrats don't you feel special now. This does not mean I will respond. My Trillian is on 24/7... guess what... I'm around my computer maybe 3-4 hours a day. It's like an answering machine to me. So don't IM me saying shit like... OMFG AFK SUCKS... COME BACK...IMPORTANT. Cause no matter how important you think it may be, it probably won't be that high on my priorities... more on IM's that piss me off. Yes sorry logic but I'm pointing it out now. Your BIGGEST AND WORST FLAW AS AN ADMIN! You don't leave contact info for members to get in contact with you. We ALL know you have AIM, and 90% of us already have your screenname. PUT YOUR SHIT ON THE BOARDS SO NORMAL MEMBERS CAN CONTACT YOU IDIOT. You will loose respect VERY VERY quickly if you don't stay in contact with members. I for one think members like me, cause half the time they IM me, I respond and hold a convo with them about whatever they want to talk about. speaking of talking about... DON'T IM me for casual reasons unless you are prepared to talk about the following

OMFG I TOOK OVER THE #3 spot and I don't spam, I also do more work around here than I am given credit for. Then I get some BS about preaching the rules to noobs. I fucking wrote them I should be able to point them out, hell I never warn them so why not let me verbally point them out. Then about mods not doing their jobs As LL pointed out many mods don't do shit and let supmods/admins clean up the forums. I am excluded; I seem to work my ass off while others do nothing. So we should all support WuM's candidacy for the administration spot. Because he was a former admin(for 7 months), he wrote the rules, he doesn't spam, and more great qualities  . If you don't do it for him, do it for the homosexual peon in his sig..that is all

ok WuM I <3 you and all, but your not perfect as your kinda making yourself out to be, you mess up just like everyone else... especially in pissing people off (I can vouche more then anyone here as our fued went on for months and months...) and you hit the nail on the head with higher ranking members having to do all the work... I for one don't know what it's like to be a mod, but from what I see... you all should follow WuM's example. he abides by the rules, and keeps his forum active (no matter how unactive it would be without him there...) |

Well, im going to respond to this and your responses to my previous post. First off, I do take suggestions, but the ones I dont like arnt going to happen, simple as that. Its possible that I could make spam posts not count, its possible I will merge the two, but right now all you guys are doing is adding stupid, annoying, and inmature things into your signature. That will get NOTHING done, NOTHING. Now, on the topic of mods. Alot of our mods suck, and are inactive. Some are on vacation, etc. But GamingVoid is a responsibility that you have to check back and post on every once and awhile. Not once a week. More like once a day (if you ever wish to move up in ranks). I get 3,000 IMs a day too, but i deal with it. Its my choice ot have my contact infomation available. And if logic doesnt feel like he wants to available, he doesnt fucking HAVE to have ti available. If someoone needs help, PM us about it. IMing over and over doesnt help. |

Man.. No one has pointed me out singley and I know there is alot of (...) and non-capital I's to be made fun of. Though I take my Mod job seriously I too Get a bunch of Im's for sigs and or cd keys to my personal games. I have recently been extremely active and i only IM if its for a reason  take care now =D

Let me respond to things now... hmm... first to LL. It's true we (we as in ADMINS and SUP MODS.) have to clean up some people sections. Isn't that what sup mods are for though? They moderate the entire forum correct? I'm happy to help anyone that needs help with there part of their forum, but when I get bitched out about it... wth? I try to help and you guys start to hate me. It's our fucking job to do this shit, get used to it mods. The point is LL that Sup Mod's are supposed to clean up the forums correct? Higher ranked members dont do shit, there are no members to keep in line or have to worry about. The only shit they have to do is warn the occasional idiot or ban a spammer(Which only fucking happens when a forum war is going on anyhow). I don't see why mods are required to bring activity to their forum, they should be thanked for doing that if they did/have. They have their jobs to keep everything clean and make sure everything goes by the rules, not get members. So, fuck that, mods do their jobs, because there is nothing to fucking 'do'. 'Do' being keep members in line, because...oh wait...we don't have that many, and the ones that are present regularly know the fucking rules. It is a forum, and a simple game forum at that, dont make it out to be more work than it is. |
