Sick And Tired Sick And Tired (Origional Post)

Im sick and tired of all these stupid ass comicbook-to-movie movies. They all have really shitty plots. The action usually blows. Its extremly boring. The only advantage to these movies are the flashy special effects.

Does anybody else actually LIKE these movies?

Are you talking about the new spiderman movie too. Because I thought that was a really bad movie but the end. So yeah I have to agree with you.

None of the comic book movies have pleased me at all either... none EVER have a good story like any of the classic comics did.

The only good thing to ever be based on a comic would be 'Smallville'. A TV show on the WB that's about a young Superman. It's a cool show, and we can't forget the HOT chicks in it happy.gif

Spiderman was OK, I think Hellboy is just gay though.

I thought Spiderman was an excellent film. Even without the action and special effects there would have been a good movie. The actors did a good job in bringing humanity and personable attributes to the characters that they potrayed, esp Maguire. But it was the only comic book to film that I enjoyed. And to think that they're about to ruin John Constantine. sad.gif

I hated all of them... Even spiderman was too lame for me to even think of it as a 4star movie.

I am inclined to agree, for the most part. The only reason I don't fully agree with you, is because I loved X-Men and X2.

Hmm I did like X-Men a little but X-2 was just plain gay. So i guess there are so exceptions to some movies but overall most comic book to movies are pretty lame.

I still can't stand any of these movies-

Spiderman - He's gay first off... but seriously, the movie had a HORRIBLE kiddie plot, and it didn't go along with the comics AT ALL!

Daredevil - If you watched the movie... you know why it sucked...

X-Men - Horribly produced/written movie... there was to many plots going on at the same time... it's like you were watching 100 movies at once.

Hulk - WTF? this movie flat out SUCKED. They should have done it like the old TV show did...

now that I really think about it... Batman is the only GOOD movie ever based on a comic... All the batmans seemed to intrigue me, and I love them all to this day...

I don't understand your critique on Spiderman. First off what would him being "gay" or gay-like have to do with anything? And I don't understand how the plot is "Kiddie". It's about a superhero who wants to do the right thing for himself and for others but can't seem to balance his own life and the one of him being the Superhero. Much like the comicbook. Plus Doc Ock is tragic, sympathetic, and threatening all at once and is a great villan.

And you like Batman but complain about Spiderman not going along with the comics. How does that work? Come on the Joker killing Batmans parents?

But I do agree that Daredevil was poorly acted and directed.

The X-men is the worst offender of not following the comic books

Well I haven't seen the Hulk so I can't comment.

#1) Spiderman has ALWAYS been critized for being gay... well before this movie was ever thought up...

#2) How the plot is kiddie? well lets think... IT'S LIKE IT WAS WRITTEN BY A KID. It's so simple and poorly made! O NOES! SPIDERMAN IS A BAD GUY! psh... he's a dumbass, and if it were a GOOD movie... it would 1) make him encounter something more then small thugs and 1 pussy ass villian 2) have a better story behind the love life... cause we all know in the comic book... he did ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to be with mary jane NOT blow her off like he did at the end of the first movie.

I don't know jack shit about 'doc cock' since I havn't seen 2.

umm... please grow up and learn to watch classics... Batman is the greatest comic based movie EVER... no doubt they get worse as time goes along... but they still are better then any of these 'new age' movies...

You can't prove to me that the joker killed them or not... as I can't either... The comics NEVER revealed who killed them, BUT we all know that he did it... even tho we can't prove it! again, please watch some classics...

I thought Spider-man was a O.K. movie. But yah i didn't even want to see Hell boy. I thought that X-men was good. The only reason I think they are doing this is because they are out of ideas.
