| I think it is unfair how sports stars get paid millions of dollars. Yet there are police officers who risk there lives yet they get payed way less. When Alex Rodriguez signed with the Texas Rangeers he was payed 250 million dollars over 6 years. Does that sound insane or am i making no sence? Please tell me what you think. Is it fair or is it dirty cheap? |

| well cops do risk there lives but sports is a good form of entertainment that millions of people watch everyday so obviously the stars of it are going to get paid alot |

Now keep in mind... this is coming from a guy that works for the govn't too... People like entertainment... people will pay to see entertainment... entertainment gets more money... more money goes to the entertainers People hate taxes... people avoid everything that involves taxes... taxes are very little in proportion to your normal pay... very little makes it to WORKERS of the govn't... it's a simple break down... |

I also agree that athletes, particularly in baseball and basketball, are getting payed far too much. Sure, it's entertainment, and they are very good at what they do, but is someone actually worth 10 million dollars a season? No. The prices just keep going up and up each year. To top that off, the "superstars" cry when they don't get enough money. They don't give a shit about the game anymore, they just want the fuckin' cash. They should be payed well, but there is no way that they should be making as much as they do now. Fuck these cry babies. |

Thats why I dont watch sports, or buy jerseys, or the bobble heads, or tickets to a game, or even a hat. Its just milking it, and there are too many fools who think its alright and dandy that they spend $80 on a jersey because it is a replica of a 'professional' game player. HELLO HI. Thats why Nike has done so well, all the fucktards are paid even more to wear it, so Nike gets mores sales. "Just milk it." Playing is much more satisfying, exciting and just more enjoyable than watching. Fat asses drinking beer betting on a footbal game pisses me off, I could care less if everybodys father and their brother does it, its fucking annoying. So, if you dont like it, boycott sports, and the heros that are made by fans. The real heros are paid less, and not appreciated because they aren't on tv. Its the stupidity of humans, and it wont end. |
