I re-adjusted permissions so guests can view GamingVoid w/o creating an account or signing in.
We will switch back and forth, b/c they both bring good results at times.

Yeah, it just depends what you are looking for.
Quality Members who sign up because they actually WANT to post, or quantity because everyone has to post. Switching it around..you hoping to get some of both? (:

Well, we got a few members that made a few posts when I required sign up, and we occasiaonlly get some when we dont require it. I like it when people sign up when they actually want to.
Its odd though, alot of people dont even post! (after signing up on their own will!)

Yeh, that happened with all my old forums. They'd sign up, and NEVER post.... pfft....
Good idea, saves you form more pruning.

Well, im either going to give guests full access or no access at all, heh. No need to restrict topics, etc.
I could individually restrict FORUMS, so they need more postcount to get it - but thats FORCING people to post, which is gay. They will keep moving onto the next board anyways.

I think you should give guests permission to view the forums. Maybe we could get some new members out of it. Some people just need to see the site before they want to sign up for it. So I think you should give them permission and see if it helps us or not.
