The biggest problem for me and CONSOLE rpgs is that I cant finish the damn game! For example; on Final Fantasy 10 I quit when I got to Mt. Gagazet (was stuck on the boss) and in Final Fantasy 9, im loosing interast quick.
The best way to fix this problem is: GameShark. It will get you past the area were you are stuck, so you can get back to the story line; which makes the rpgs!
(UPDATE: I got bored and beat Mt. Gagazet. I will finish FF10 after FF9 now... hrm)

Something around the same concept as that happened to me. when I was playing chrono cross the game froze right after I beat the last boss.

Ya, but the problem with gameshark is that some people just buy the game, enter the codes and say they have beaten it. Those are the type of people that piss me off  .

I have beaten a few RPGs, but I just loose motivation near the end. Alot of RPG plots seem to lack at the end for a bit; then pull right back when you beat the boss.

This is why Diablo 2 is such a good game. Even after you've beaten the game or gotton to level 99 there's always more you can do.

well even when you get to 99 you still have to get the best equipment... then you get it (as i did) and the game SUCKS SO BAD!!

That maybe true, but it's not like Final Fantasy where the game just kind of ends  .

Ya but on like FFTactics you can run around and get better and better before the 3rd to last fight (your forced to fight them after that) but then again... that's the only final fantasy game I've played as much as I have!

Ya that would take someone years of studing what people look for in a game what makes them keep playing it.. so on and so forth... (blizz is getting the hang of doing those kinds of studies)

gamesharks can ruin ur memory cards and u can always beat a boss u jus gotta kno how lol and as for ff games besides beatin the game u gotta find all the secrets and all the minigames like in ff10 they got the chocbo racin and findin all the ultimate weapons for each character plus the monster thing and in ff7 breedin chocbos gettin all the materia beatin the ULTIMATE WEAPONS and all that and in ff9 they got chocobo treasure hunting

I just beat FF Tactics again this past weekend (42 hours total) see if ya can beat that! MUAHAHAHAH!

i beat FF10 in record time (50 HOURS!), im at 90 hours with FF9 and not even half done disk four. also im not even lvl 99 with Zidane.
