Males, better than females? I had this with Religion a LONG time ago. We discussed the moral problems between males and females, and some people thinking the males are superior over the females. They give the following arguments that’re in favor of males:
In my opinion, this is false, as I know lots of girls that are stronger than me. So why would women be weak? And they don’t get tired easily. Some girls I know work harder than men and longer! And most of the girls are better at tests in my class. Besides, the emotional thinking of the women is what makes them so fun to talk with! And, if I look at this, I am a female, as I cannot, repeat, CANNOT read maps, I am not that strong, I think along the same lines as the girls in my class do, and if I am put under heavy stress, boy oh boy... you wouldn’t wanna be near me! I think these ideas are wrong, but what about you? Topic of the Week: Are males better than females? Or, if you know any more of these biased arguments, then you can post them here too! From now on, I will try to make an intelligent topic of the week every week. |

Yet, however, can we trust the bible? If I remember correctly, the Bible stated that a victim of raping within city zones should be killed, likewise as the raper. Why? 'Cause she did not scream for help. BUT, people can't hear her at times. I suggest you don't stick to the Bible too much, as it is a bit... over-aged. It's old. Also, the Bible stated that you should get your ah... "thing"... worked on, if you get what I mean. Now truthfully, do you listen to that rule? Instead of just posting something, it'd be fun to put some more thought instead of quoting the Bible. I was asking for YOUR opinion and it'd be nice if you had some arguments.  EDIT: I just noticed you guys have a spiffy Debates forum. If someone could move this to it's proper place, I'd really appreciate it. (give ya a cookie if y'do!) |

As proven by Science, Men are always going to be stronger and have more endurance. Men are not necessarly SMARTER, although most the smart poeple of the world are men. Med have to deal wtih more. Take on my stress, etc. Men are superior. |

Just because you have stress doesn't mean girls don't.... they have to take on more shit than you, like periods and stuff. And yes, they have relationship problems too..... In my eyes, men and women are equal. Most smart people of the world are men - NO. Inccorect. It's only that the men get all the fame and glamour because smart women wouldn't go up well. That doesn't seem right, does it? |

This is a debate that will go on forever, along with others, because the very idea of it is void. You can not and will not ever explain or justify an 'idea', because it can't be done. Women, nor Men, are better then one or the other, at the same time, they are not equal. Men, on AVERAGE, are in fact more intelligent, work better under stress, think better rationally, and work harder, longer. Women, on AVERAGE, are more compassionate, emotional, have a higher tolerance for pain in times of need, and are more patient. Now, this is on the average, this doesnt mean that a boy, because he's male, is stronger then a 23 year old female body lifter, just because she's female, no. This means that out of the 6.2 billion world population, if you take the average strength of all males, and the average strength of all females, the males will tip the scale in their favor. On the same analysis, let's get theoretical here. Women Vs Men +C -C -S +S -RT +RT =In =In C=Compassionate S=Strength RT=Rational Thinking In=Intelligence +/-/= are self explanatory. Both sexes have pros and cons and strengths and weaknesses, it's foolish to think that one sex is better, or dominate, then the other. As far as the bible term 'Rule over you', refering to men ruleing women, I think that's foolish as well. I fully believe that this was the way it was, farther back in history, we can deduce this accurately by studying cultures that still practice ancient methods, such as china, japan, india, etc., women are still submissive to a degree deemed extreme by american standards. I believe whole-heartedly that in todays modern world, times require different methods, as such, women no longer should be required to be submissive to the husbands, atleast to the degree previously believed in. Nor should we assume that if a man and woman apply for a job, both with equal resumes, that the man should automatically acquire the position, because of his gender, that's prejudice. Women are equal if not superb to men in many standards of life, and Men are equal if not superb to women in other standards of life, as I'v stated. Women, and Men, are not equal, however, simultaneously they are not better then one another. Hopefully you have the abstract thinking capacity to comprehend what i've stated. |

Weird topic... But neither males nor females are greater. Nature intended them to work as a team: The male hunts and protects, and it's his job to make sure that his seed is spread and that he fathers as many sons as possible (the natural law, any animal's first priority is to reproduce) The female feeds and takes care of the children, she also carries the baby. Both femals and males are needed for dfferent things, you can't compare apples and oranges (or bowling balls and watermellons) |

"It's a man's world, but it couldn't be without a women." We need women to make men. I think men are dominant at the moment in society. Women are catching up though. I really don't judge women vs. men unless it is about driving cars and stuff. Most of the time women are pretty sad when it comes to driving. rofl Women usually live longer though. I think it is because they usually wear out the men.

| It's not always true that female are smater. I have friends that are smarter than a ton of girls I know. I know females that are stronger than most males. I don't really think it matters what gender you are. It depends on how you were born. |

You mean: 'How you were raised". You can only be BORN two ways, conventional methods(I'm not gonna explain further) or a cesarian (However its spelled, the cut the stomach in the case that the women cant do it naturally.). Not including a test tube baby, of course. Men work, women stay at home. Its not always because Men are dominant, its just that if a women gets pregnant, she can't work anymore, correct? So, its just natural for the women to stay home, clean, make food, go shopping, and for the man to work. Thats just that one case where they are married though. And logic, I agree, but for the sake of arguement, the resume being equal and whatnot: If the women and man are both applying for a construction site job, that man is probably going to get it. And vice versa, if they are applying for a daycare job, the women usually gets it. Construction for strength and whatever, Daycare because women are more caring and emotional and have the natural ablilty to take care of children. |

Excuse me how we were raised. It's not natural for a woman to stay home. My mom works at a law office. My friend's mom is a detective. My mom's friend works at a law office. If you went to my middle/high school, you would see their are like 300 female teachers. I'll admit some woman stay home but it's not an instinct. |

There are more housewives than house..husbands. o.O Thats a fact, and a obvious one at that. Stevey, you just make no sense sometimes. You probably can't help it though. I never said it was an instinct, but okay, it almost is though. When you are married and a man is bringing home some decent cash were you can do what you want, and buy everything you need/want and drive some Mercedes..do you have any incentive to work? Its even worse if you have kids, or are pregnant, and thats all I was saying. I'm SURE there would be more house..husbands type things IF MEN got pregnant. Its just natural for a women to take care of the children. Like all those half-assed Daddy Day Care and Cheaper By the Dozen movies, it was harder for the men to take care of children. And thats the truth. Not everyone can afford Daycares and Babysitters all day, or Nannys or w/e you want to call them, so why isn't it NORMAL that the women stays home and takes care of the children, if she is BETTER at it, then OF COURSE she is going to do it. Ugh, don't be stupid. |

i dont think male r better tham female or female r better tham male, it all depends how they r raised in my opnion so if they r raised = they can have the same str or the same way of thinking or the same way to act. I got no religion i dont believe in god and for me biblie is 80% lie. It was writen by man on that time and on that time man were better tham womans so i think both r equal if they have the same oportunity. lots of english mistakes sry guys but im in a hurry. |

In all honestly, I have no problem staying at home while my wife does the work. I'll clean the house, vacuum and dust and all it entails, I'll cook and wash dishes, and i'll massage her feet when she gets home, and i'll do it with a big-smile on my face. I'v felt this way since 9th grade, and my g'f knows it, and has no problem with it either. Go ahead, try and bash it, say i'm a pussy or i'm whipped. Your the one workin 9-5 or longer, while i'm at home, cooking what I want to eat, cleaning what i'd clean anyway, and then kickin it, gaming, watching tv, or whatever fuck else I wanna do. |

I would be the same way. I just don't think that is ever going to happen with me. I think I will have to get a job somewhere and I couldn't stay home the whole day and do house work and play games and stuff like that. |

You only get to retire at the age of 38 if you serve in the Air Force for twenty years. I know you know this. I am just saying that it is a huge commitment. Not a lot of people serve for twenty years. It is a long time. Also, a lot can change in twenty years. |
