I was wondering how you can make text that moves or flashes in Photoshop. I would even think it is cool if I could do what Ransom did on his signature. Could you tell me how to do some of these cool affects?

www.good-tutorials.com
Do a search for animations or text animations.
You'll have a plethora of information.

Ok, thanks Logic. I guess I just didn't know what to search for because I went to good tutorials and searched for "moving text" and that didn't come up with anything. I also searched google for a at least two hours.
Thanks again for helping me, Logic. I will show you what I am making if it comes out okay.

well easy you need image ready go on it write what you want to move/fade
if you make it move write it then move to the top or left of right..... and then do duplicate frame (all in animation box) move it a little(for slow moving) or a lot(fast moving) repeat until you get where you want
to fade : on the first frame put you opacity to 100% then duplicate frame move opacity to 0% then do tweens (animation box near duplicate frame) tweens with : previous frame then select how much frame you want the more you have the slower fade will be
thats it enjoy

Good, i'm glad you know how to do it now
its always better when someone finds out how to do it themselves, rather then have someone do it for them

Logic, if you don't mind, I have one last question. I noticed that your image was a jpeg and mine was a gif. I also noticed mine took up almost ten times as much space as yours. Could you tell me how to save my image as a jpeg and if that is why your image does not take up as much space as mine?
It just stinks because I can't upload that image to imghst.con if it is over 100 kilobytes.
And after I optomize my image I can only save my image as a gif.

His moving text is not a JPEG. Anything that is animated needs to be a .GIF. For a JPEG, just when you save, click the little white drag-down box and select JPEG.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up, Z. I guess Logic actually has two images. One is a jpeg, and the other is a gif.
