Your best friend turns out to be homosexual. What now? What would you do if your best friend was homosexual? Fairly easy question, ne? Myself, I wouldn't care. Be it hetero, be it homo or bisexual, I like all people equally.  As long as they're fun people to talk to, I'll hang around with ANYONE!  (this thread has not been written with offensive ideas. I'd call him a fruit cake and make fun of him whenever possible, I'd take many cheap shots, and make sure I was fully clothed when around him. lol I'd still be his friend though |

If the person was a true friend, I would be fine with it. I wouldn't be ashamed to have him as a friend if he was really my friend. But I would make sure that he didn't try to do anything with me that would be considered homosexual.

You are pretty open-minded. A lot of people I know would IMMEDIATELY ditch the friend, buncha homophobes. Make fun of him WuM? XD!!! And yeah, I wouldn't wanna get touched either. There's a limit to how far I wanna go.

It depends... If one day they just come up to me and their like... 'I'm gay!' And they still act the same and shit... it'd be cool BUT If they came up to me and were like... 'I've been living 2 lives, I'm as you know me in one, and I'm a flaming fag in the other. i'm not going to hide my gay ass self anymore...' I'd punch him in his face, and *hopefully* never talk to him again. (of course not worded like that, but you know what I mean) |

| I would be totally fine with it. If someone is homosexual does it really matter? As long he/she was a good and true friend. While I'm on this topic I actually do have a family friend that is homosexual. |

I have actually been through this. One of my good friends for about 4 years, name is Jason. Been cool with him since about the 9th grade all the way through after graduating. At his 19th bday thing, he told everyone there that he has known he was gay since the 10th grade, and dated girls only for the image. He said he's out of high school and wants to live his life the way he wants, and is not going to hide behind it or be ashamed ever again. There were probably 20 of us there with him, 13 of them left. the 7 that remained, 5 of them were family. the other 2, myself and TJ, we stood up and clapped, his family followed. I remain good friends with him til this day, he's one of the coolest people I know, and is one of the most faithful friends' i'v got. He's one of the few friends who doesn't use me, all my other friends only call me when they need help with something, be it their computer, or their car. Jason actually calls every now and then to see how i'm doing, hang out, whatever. |

Thats awesome. That could be a fucking movie. Prolly only make it to lifetime or something, but still.. I'd still do what I said. Except, since its his b-day, do it on the table and invite his friends and family to join. The reactions may surprise you. |

That is a cool story, Logic. It shows how you respect people for who they are and don't judge them becasue they are homosexual or whatever they happen to be. I would have done the same thing because your friend was open and honest with it. Also, he was a true friend to you. |
