These are the correct rules: Rules for GamingVoid These are general rules that apply to ALL boards here at GamingVoid unless otherwise stated. These rules are updated frequently by our staff, so please check below for the update date. 1. Flaming Do not engage in personal attacks on other forum members. This includes not making prejudicial or hateful remarks, threats of physical harm, hacking, threats concerning personal data, objectionable language, etc. Any threads found to be of this nature will be closed and possibly deleted immediately. The offending user will subsequently be reported to the GamingVoid Forum Administrators for consideration of further action. 2. Reviving Old Threads Reviving threads that were around back when this forum was new is not needed. Those topics are old and derelict and should not be brought back into action. If you feel that a thread has not passed its time yet, send a private message to a forum leader and he/she will bump that thread back into action. Otherwise, just create your own version of that topic but you must add something new to the topic. 3. Spamming A Spam post is a post that contains little to no information related to the topic of the thread that the post is in. An easy way to identify these posts is think before you post. If it contributes to the forums, it's most likely not spam. If you have to think about it for more then 30 seconds, it's probably spam. Please keep all Spam inside of the Spam forum. Other examples of spamming would be: -Posting a thread directed toward a specific member -Posting a single word, such as "lol," or "lmao" -Posting only smiles -Double Posting (i.e. posting twice in a row, or making an exact copy of a post in a different thread) (This does not aply in the spam forum or in threads that have been pardoned by staff members) -Posting a URL with nothing that describes where the URL takes you to ... And the list goes on. So, please, just limit your posts to intelligent conversations and the occasional joke/goof-off posts. 4. Adult Content Prohibited Any kind of post that contains adult content or offensive pictures, links, or anything else, could result in a deletion of you account or possibly a complete ban from GamingVoid. Dont distribute, discuss, or post obscene or other unlawful materials like child pornography or illegal drugs. 5. Ranting is prohibited A “rant” is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of the game, but rants are disruptive and insight flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents. 6. Personal Information For your own safety, please do not post any personal information in the forum. When you use the Private Messaging (PM) or e-mail functions of this forum, you do so at your own risk. Make sure you know the person that you are messaging or e-mailing well, especially if you are giving personal information through one of those means. Any personal information found in public posts to this forum will be immediately deleted for the safety and privacy of that user. 7. Respect the Staff You will not post questions about the specific actions of a moderator in a public forum (eg. editing a post, deleting a thread, banning a member), as this remains a private matter between the member and the staff involved. However, members may PM or email a moderator at anytime. General questions about staff and feedback about moderators are allowed, just not specific questions about a particular moderator action. All decisions to edit, move or delete a post or thread are based on this set of rules listed here. If you, in any way, insult or aggravate an Admin or Sup. Mod, you will be reviewed for instant termination or suspension of your account. Creating scandals, or starting trouble between staff results in termination. For most cases, termination of account occurs. GamingVoid is not obligated to monitor every post, but we have the right to remove any post or take action against any poster. 8. Other Forums Anywere on GamingVoid you will not link to other forums threads, posts, pictures, attachments, or links. You may not mention other forums unless that forum is part of the GamingVoid Network and/or is endorced by GamingVoid. 9. Posting Violations Don't defend yourself against profane attacks with profanity as you will be treated in the same manner as the originator. Don't post links to materials that could harm other users' computers or would allow others to inappropriately access software or Web sites. Posting off-topic in threads will result in a warning. Poor Quality/Spam Posting will result in a warning. 10. Harassment Policy Don't harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, or spam other users. Don't impersonate or harass GamingVoid employees, moderators, or staff members. 11. LincolnLuxor LincolnLuxor is always right. Don't you dare think he is wrong or edited out -LL. Users/Staff Rights Posting/Viewing on GamingVoid isn't a right, its a privilege. It will be removed if you break any rules, or for whatever reason we feel. (Espcially me, LL, I rock!) You have the right to enjoy a peaceful and fun environment, free from harassment and flaming. If you wish to maximize your experience at GamingVoid - avoid the Bitch and Moan forum at all costs (especially if you insult staff/GamingVoid). If you feel as if a moderator, sup. mod, or admin is unjust, mean, prejudice, or wrongful twords you -- contact tacoX via PM or AIM (tacoIXI)*. All your posts are copyright poster. You do realize...that...that was completly wrong.. He makes a joke (In Bitch and Moan I might add) and gets suspended and de-modded. You are full of shit. I happen to like Taco better than you, and that IS saying something. You give bullshit like "Setting a good example"...oh yeah...what rules did we break again? We used the spam forum for spam. see the thing is, he has received plenty of warning that it would end like this if it continued, and it did continue in the Ad/Mod. Repercussions happen for your actions. read Tokin's warning log to see what you got suspended for... or here... I'll quote it for you.

READ THE THREAD. it is a legit post that DIDN'T BELONG IN THE SPAM FORUM. If it would have been left there, it would have been breaking the rules anyways. Spamming outside the BnM? Oh please, if it was about fucking double and triple posting, you should make the edit times higher. And, guess what, IT WAS MADE HIGHER. It doesn't happen as often, but what else am I to do when stupid rules such as 15 minutes of editing is made? Not to mention it was 5 minutes before, when I used to double post a lot more often. There were no threads made for the sole purpose of 'reprimanding' me for breaking rules, and I have a 20% warn for and 'bad' post basically. Hippies was a spam thread, I know where threads go, and if you had waited even 10 minutes, that thread would have been turned to shit like I meant it to. OH NOEZ THOUGH! You had to patrol like a dickwad and move things like you are somebody. You are wrong for suspending ZBomber, because HE didn't break those rules, he just argued with you. You are like a kid with power who is angry and 'so pissed off' as you put it. Just because you have power doesn't mean you should be able to abuse it. And thats what you did, because you got mad, because we utilized the forums, because Tokin doesn't give what you think, because your an asshole, and because you are WRONG. |

I want to voice my opinion about this deal. I want to talk about ZBomber. I think that it was a stupid decision to suspend him and take away his super moderator position. He didn't break a rule. He was making a point by spamming. You told him to stop and he did. He did argue with you, but come on. That is no reason to suspend someone and take away their super moderatos position. You might have just lost one of your best members. ZBomber brought me here. He brought K-9 Mummies here too. He has stopped people when they try to advertise on your site and spam up every forum. He has enforced the rules. And most of all, he has gained your trust to become a super moderator. How the hell can you end that because he argued with you? He just wanted to know what rule he was breaking. You never even told him. ZBomber has encouraged a ton of activity and gotten you members. I don't see how you could afford to lose him. |

Easy. They think that having mindless members who don't do anything but enter topics such as "Currenty Listening To" and "New Wallet" and "Missing Peoples List" is how they should be. You know, threads that dont matter. He is wrong, but too stubborn to change his attitude toward it, and his pride is worth more than ZBomber. (In his own arrogant way.) Actually, its worth more than me (Not saying I'm better than ZBomber, but being a reg and "VIP"[Such important people, so so important. Yeah riight.] I didn't think he would suspend me, lol, but supposedly I earned it. Its not big deal, because its only a day. A WHOLE DAY ZBOMBER! I HOPE YOU LEARNED YOUR LESSON YOU BAD KID YOU! RAWR! DONT EVER BREAK THE RULES AGAIN! [What rules? I have no clue.] I suppose a 1 day suspension will give him time to see the error of his ways, and he will be a completely changed man. Thats alot in a day, but hell, I know it sounds CRAZY but it looks like it JUST MIGHT WORK! |
