I just wanted to say... I hate stupidity. I think...an announcement is in order! I've been dubbed... and I quote "A grammar Jew" ..mind you I had to correct the spelling in grammar. No "e's" in that one people.  Ransom : I love you, really I do. People like you give me a reason to thank god I was gifted with a brain. Now that I've announced that ...I wonder how many people will agree? Another random thought, how many people type in sentences when they flame? I'd love to have a stimulating battle of wits. Someone, surprise me, please.

I've migrated away from the flameing scene, but when I did flame, or still do if the need or desire arises, I always try to type with correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. That's not to say that I don't make mistakes, as i'm sure everyone does. But even when I do not 'flame', I still try to type correctly. Why does this matter to you? I'm not saying it doesn't, I would love to see more people use full sentences and use syntax with correct form, but that's just me, a lot of people don't want to extend the extra effort to do so. It's like the people that use 'r' for 'are', or 'u' for 'you'. I personally don't see why, it takes me just as much time to type 'are' as to type 'r', really, and the same for all the other abbreviations, but a lot of people don't see the need to, and as this is a family forum meant for entertainment and fun, we can't force people to use better form. I'm rambling again, curse your enticing questions. |

I suppose that it is fairly accurate to say that OMG WTF AOL SPEEK is pretty annoying, but I don't give much of a shit about it until it includes me somehow. Oh, oh, yeah. No, no. I'm actually agreeing with you, and I think Morbid is the "company-humper". I was just showing him the error of his ways in a satyrical manner. He picked on Ransom's grammar, I picked on his terrible use of commas. You, however, have a smell that is reminiscent of rotting snails, and have sex with your sister. |
