Hurricane's Hurricane's (Origional Post)

So did anybody have to deal with the hurricanes? My uncle had to abandon his house during the second hurricane.

What a mess. I live in IL, so there was no problem here. Anybody here.

BAUAHAUAHAHHA.

I live in fucking Orlando, how do you think it went?

I have missed so much school its gross. I fucking love it. I'm hoping for Ivan to turn and rape us like Andrew did to Miami, and hopefully it will happen.

Posted By TMaC on 9/14/04 @ 2:31:01 PM
I am all the way up in Massachusetts like ZBomber. Nothing is even close to me.

I don't think it would be that cool to get hit by a hurricane, Tokin. Missing school would be okay though. I am already tired of school and it just started.

Dude, thats fucking kick ass for you. I would fucking love to miss that much school =). The thing is that your going to be making up time in the summer... but id rather miss time in the middle of the year.

Just my preference. Is your house/family all ok toke?

Posted By ZBomber on 9/14/04 @ 3:10:49 PM
Hurricanes rock! I'd love to be in one if it didn't do any/much damage to my house or family.

Posted By tacoX on 9/14/04 @ 3:15:09 PM
I never had anything even CLOSE to a hurricane near my house. I had really bad rain/floods when I lived in texas which were badass, but other then that nothing really to dramatic.

We'll be seeing the wind off of this one tomm. I'm off work starting at 3PM tomm until Monday cause of the expected dmg it's supposed to do here... ugg... it fucked up my trip to Tennessee too...

TMaC, I've been through many hurricanes, having lived in Florida for so long, and lived in the Carribean for 9 years....Most of the time, they aren't as bad as people make them out to be.

Charley, I never lost power because I am fucking hardcore..I mean like the people next door probably lost power...everybody did..except me..HAHAHHAHAHAH. So school was closed for a long time because they make it a shelter, and people went there to ride it out..except me..even one of my away messages is goes like this: (Its from when WoW Stress Test was out)

"Who got accepted to the stress test?

Tokin did. Because Tokin kicks ass. So while all the other fools are without power, I am sitting here playing a decent mmorpg. World of Warcraft. 8) (8 8( )8"

Thats what it said, I dunno if any of you saw. Yeah, I think that was during Charley...if not it was Frances..either way, We were out of school for both, I never lost power, although it did flash on and off while I was making a War3 map and I had to start over...that sucked..but thats about it..no one I know got hurt, only like 6 people died (Its their fault for not being in a safe place the way I see it.)

And now I notice there is a tropical depression coming the same way as Frances..AHAHAHAHAH..Yeah...the only decent thing about Florida.

Oh..EDIT..This is more about The Carribean..you guys hear about Ivan raping some little area known as The Cayman Islands..yeah...like...50000000 of my family is there..and they got messed up really bad. Like, my aunts, my grandmothers and a couple others lost their roof completely..Ivan is tough..Since there was so much water..INSIDE your house, it was flooded up to 5 feet..of fucking water..thats just crazy..and cars were floating and..man..its bad..they wont have power for like ever because of it...I don't think anyone died, but I have my doubts..I bet a couple did, we got in contact with our family though, everyone is okay..but everything is just fucked up..yeah..I hope it hits Florida, but not like that.

Hurricanes are both good and bad for a few reasons. They are good because you get to miss school, but they are really bad because then you have to make school back up in the summer which pretty much sucks.

Posted By Tokin on 9/15/04 @ 5:55:16 PM
Not necessarily. We are making up 3 out of the 10 days we missed.

Education is important!! You can't miss school!! lol

It is nice that you got a break from school. I am already sick of it and I have only had it for about three weeks so far.

I don't think hurricanes are that great though. The roof of your house could blow off. lol I am glad that I live far away from the hurricanes. All I get from them is some rain.

Hurricanes are a bitch. But in some cases they are good. I live in IL and now the hurricanes charlies winds and rain came up here. my backyard was flodded today.

Posted By lincolnluxor on 9/17/04 @ 10:08:58 AM
Well Ivan just went over me. We have damage, but not like florida. Lots of downed trees, street signs ripped up, mirrors torn off my truck, fog light torn off my truck, etc...

It was fun as hell to go run around in 90 mph wind tho lol (except the rain hitting you.. that HURT!)

Posted By TMaC on 9/17/04 @ 1:50:55 PM
It is good that you made it through the hurricane. I am sorry to hear about your truck though.

I bet the rain hurt. I went on a 90 mph roller coaster ride when it was raining before and that hurt a bit.

Posted By American_Guerrilla on 9/17/04 @ 9:25:09 PM
charlie and frances went over me. ivan is now. guess what. they;re fucking rainstorms. we get nor'easters....

Posted By Pharismo on 9/19/04 @ 12:35:15 PM

Posted By lincolnluxor on 9/19/04 @ 3:24:50 PM

You guys have hurricanes, and us here in Illinois are known for our massive scale tornado disasters. Naperville seems to get thumped every year, oddly enough. (Taco/Demo, you should know this. smile.gif) We've also had a few fairly bad snowstorms, and a few years ago, we had a lot of tropical storms that made their way over here and flooded everything a few consecutive weeks in a row. Salt Creek turned into Salt River Thatwillwashawayyourlovelysuburbanhome. We get our fair share of disasters, why do you think our soil is so rich and flat? (Other than glaciers, of course) Oh yeah, you can't forget our 4.5 Earthquake that we had a few months ago. I thought I was going insane until weatherbug raped my eyes with flashes of "OMFUG EARTHQUAEK." That doesn't really count, though, because we don't get those often. We get a lot of massive scale lighting storms, too. My house got struck twice.

I got sick of Ivan. It left a ton of rain over here where I live. It wasted one my whole day Saturday.

I was just in my box the whole day posting on gamingvoid.
