Has anybody here upgraded and have any problems? Im thinking about upgrading, but I heard its uncompatable with some games/programs.

My parents got it and everything is fine with them. They do not play games though.
I did not get it. I am too lazy to do the download. I don't need it anyways.

Well, before reading this I uploaded, and because I dont really game anymore - theres no problems.
Everything is running fine for me... it comes with a little system protector thing too... cool!

That sounds pretty good. I do not play too many games on the computer either. Maybe I will get Service Pack 2 when I am not too lazy.

You know what my friend calls that update?
The Anti-Terroist Training Service Pack..
It disables a shit load of games to stop you from learning how to shoot in FPS and how to strategize and attack in RTS games.
Don't get it if you are planning to attack somewhere soon.

When I loaded it i was still able to play games normally just it completely killed the sound to my computer, after doing everything I could to try to regain my sound I did a system restore to the previous day and it worked fine again no problems.
Alot of my friends and family have dled it and all of them are having some problems with it. I dont recommend it till service pack 2 se comed out usually when they release that most if not all bugs are worked out.

i got it a few weeks ago, comp is running fine.... the big thing is prolly that i installed it on a fresh hard drive. it had nothing on it when i installed the pack. it doesnt screw up any of my games either.

well one thought of why it is screwing up so many computers upon installation would be virsus and spyware currently on cuputer during installation. Im not positive but if a computer has certain virsus or spyware on computer couldent this disturb and/or alter some of the files being installed if a virus were programmed to do so.
