I think it looks pretty cool, I just think that the right side is a little messed because it is so white and plain.

I like it, but I think you should make that 'flare' or ball of 'light' as it appears to be have a bluish tint instead of white.
Personally, anyway.

They both are appealing, but the red throws me off, either go pure white or bluish.
