| Thats exactly what I was thinking. If half the members that signed up actually introduced them-self, or started SOMEWERE, I think it may build a lot more activity =0 |

I have seen it work more efficiently on other boards - I think if we give it a TRY (and if it works out) we can keep it. If not, I will kick myself. I know we arnt really large, but we do get allot of people that sign up everyday and dont make anyposts -- it may help a bit... |

This is a pretty small forum based on its active member ratio. If you think about it, in the last week we lost many of our active members (read: http://www.gamingvoid.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6344). It may seem big, but if you compare it to other boards its pretty small. I feel as if we are in the top 90% of all boards. But you and I know there are MUCH larger boards... MUCH! |

And it would be more like 7,600 if the site didn't get hacked every week. And it might have made me more active with about 1,200 posts. I don't see the point in having a separate forum. If people don't read the descriptions, they suck at forums and at life and they won't stay here to post a lot. But, if you want to get one more post out of your n00bs before they leave, it is a great idea. |
