With heavily clad test mules being the only indication of what has changed since the original concept, a new render from Kolesa envisions what the production model may look like. It retains the large grille, massive wheels and unique headlight and taillight setup that were previewed before. Imo its distinctive enough to separate it from Hyundai's newer models like the Palisade.

This already looks much closer to production form than what we have seen previously. The rear taillights remind me somewhat of the concept designs we've seen from Lincoln in years passed. So many brands are moving back to full width taillights.

We have to take these kinds of renderings with a grain of salt, because often they are just a mashup of parts from other models in the lineup. Not quite sure what's the deal with the double wheel arches and front grille either.

I don't think that's a fair statement, even thought the above is just a rendering, because we can see the next G80 takes after it entirely.

Chances are Genesis will deliver on 90% of what this G80 test mule is wearing a. You might have to pay a premium for some exterior features but it should be as attractive as the new Continental.

Just seen pictures of it completed unveiled in Korean test drives... Genesis is on the right track.

All we need to see now are more SUV's. How much could the GV line-up grow?

Genesis hasn't said much last I checked but there's just no way they won't capitalize on the various segments that performed well for other car makers.
