2020 Genesis GV80 Engine & Powertrain
In South Korea the GV80 is going to come with an available 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine, it won't be available in the US.
In the US there will be two turbocharged engines to choose from, a 2.5-liter inline-four and a Genesis-specific 3.5-liter V6. All three engines will equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power numbers haven't been revealed yet.
The GV80 is going to available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. GV80 models equipped with all-wheel drive in the US Market will feature an electronically controlled Limited Slip Differential at the rear axle.
It will also have electronically controlled suspension with road preview, which "helps provide passengers with optimal ride comfort by recognizing information on the road ahead in advance via the front camera."
