Summary
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2021 Genesis G80 and GV80 vehicles equipped with 2.5-litre turbo engines. The fuel tube connecting the high pressure fuel pump to the fuel rail may not seal properly, which could allow fuel to leak.

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

What Owners Should Do
Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will replace the high pressure fuel tube, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 21, 2021. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 008G.

Apparently Genesis will notify owners and dealers in May to get the GV80s fixed.

Genesis will notify owners and dealerships in late May 2021 and instruct owners to take their vehicle to their nearest dealership where the high-pressure fuel tube will be replaced.

Good tip. We're lucky that so few models were included in this recall.
When was yours built?

January 2021 build date on driver door frame. Didn't see day. Might be part of recall.

Sorry for late response, about a week after Beauty arrived (waited 4 months for delivery) took a fall on wet concrete and broke RIGHT foot. She has been garaged since. Finally able to drive her yesterday. On the bright side, low miles.

Just learned about this after I started searching about the check engine light I am getting with code p045600 (Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected ). Checked fuel cap, disconnected battery, still getting the light and code.
