Anybody having any issues with locking your doors with the key fob, drivers door handle or the Genesis app? When I use either of the three methods, the doors lock but it does not chirp, the lights do not flash and the side mirrors do not fold in. No problems when unlocking the doors. Because the doors are not locking properly, the remote start function does not work on the key fob or the app. Last thing I have noticed is the tailgate function to automatically open in 3 seconds when key fob is near is not working. Might be tied to the doors not locking properly.

Just sent a message through MyGenesis account and waiting for a response. Any recommendations?

Not me, but I do know how that can be frustrating. Please keep us posted.
I'm new to the site.
So far, a happy owner of an adriatic blue beige interior 3.5T, prestige. 1300 miles so far, had it for about a month now after waiting about a month for it to arrive. I love it, however I was not sussessful in loading the Genesis app onto my Galaxy note 9 phone. Purchase of the vehicle does includes a 3 year free subscription/service using the app.
I was eventually told by Genesis customer service that my phone does not support the update to use the full service the app offers. The troubleshooting manual customer service was using specifically stated this. Apparently this is the case for a few other phones as well.
They even recommended that I occassional call in to have them assist in rebooting the system to prevent the vechicle locating feature (ability to link with the app) to go into some type of sleep mode, preventing it from functioning.
....though that was interesting. I was planing to get another phone anyways.

I have the same car that I purchased on December 2, 2022. I currently have 3700 miles on it and no issues at all. If you're an Android fan, I have a Pixel 7 Pro and the app works flawlessly.

When I lock my car, it does a soft "beep beep", the lights blink and the mirrors fold in. The horn (thankfully) doesn't sound. I would think that the mirrors folding would be a Setup setting, but I don't recall seeing it.

Glad to hear that you are not experiencing any problems. I do not get a "beep beep" and the lights do not flash and mirrors don't fold in. Its been frustrating and Genesis has not responded back. Going to set an appt. with local dealer. Thanks.

Update: Took my GV70 into dealership 2/25/2023. There is a recall notice on software for remote fob with no specifics. Dealer waiting for cable from manufacturer to fix problem/recall. Tech tried to reset system per tech support but did not fix problem. When dealership receives cable, they will contact me to schedule a follow-up appointment.

No resolution yet. I have a case # through my Genesis account and they contacted me last week. Hope to get an update tomorrow regarding the key fob recall and the timeline on the dealership receiving the cable to perform the recall. Will post update when completed.
