I wonder if Genesis would sometime consider an "A la Carte" buying/ordering system like other luxury automakers have. Its super convenient if you can wait for the car to be built since you get only the things that you need.
Also you avoid all the drama at the dealership with the real $ that you are going to end up paying for the car.
You just pay MSRP plus 800$ and taxes.
When I went to try the car they were adding 5000$ more to the MSRP......
The car now is not such a good deal anymore
I went to try a Genesis GV70 with the 3.5 Turbo engine the other day. I loved the car, specially how it drives and the amount of technology that comes with it.
I did not like the interior when I looked at the pics online but when I saw it in real life, I loved it.
And the price was incredible!!!....around 55 K!!!
I liked the Sport Package.
It had everything that I need in the car with the exception of the the Surround View Monitor/Blind Spot View Monitor system and the premium Lexicon Sound System.
And I assume that it would be impossible to retrofit the car to have those options.....different harnesses, door trims etc etc
I would get the Sport Advanced system but then I would need to get the leather quilted pattern.
I know its supposed to be super luxurious but I just can not stand it.
The other thing that was really terrible was the "Buying experience" in that particular Hyundai dealership.....It was really a mess.
I also wonder why they don't get dedicated dealerships selling only Genesis. These cars deserve better!!!!
