Thank you for your comment, you are totally right and the function to preventing the water when I wash it not to seeping down in between the bumper and the hatchback door 😜.
Honestly, I just like as an accessory only with no function.

Looks nice, no function but makes your vehicle stand out from the other white GV’s. Like adding a chrome strip, no function other than looks. I would also do it.

Ya, no way. $750??? I was thinking maybe $50ish or a little more. I put polished stainless steel on my F150 both sides full length for something like $140 DOLLARS 5 years ago and it still looks like the day i put it on…

Kind of reminds me of when women put on those cartoonishly hideous extra-long eye lashes. I would say take it off and return it if possible if you're asking. Personally, I think there is just something about the design of the GV80 that is perfect that it requires no mods on the exterior. It's like that saying that too many brush strokes ruin the painting. something like that. It's like the designer painted his masterpiece.
