Alex on Autos did an in depth 30-minute review of the GV80
With the new Genesis GV80, the brand's first SUV/CUV, its clear they have an eye on both BMW and Lexus, a challenge not to be undertaken lightly. The RX is the best selling Lexus after-all. However despite finally adding a 3-row variant to the lineup, RX sales have been on a decline over the last 4 years and it's not exactly the sportiest entry in the segment. Genesis is targeting the major players in a big way with tons of standard equipment, high predicted reliability, a long warranty, an optional twin-turbo V6 and unlike the RX, a "sort-of" usable third row. Game on Genesis. Game on.

I know what I'm doing this evening -- lots of reading to do. Thanks for compiling all of the reviews.
Grab some popcorn for these GV80 video reviews:

The #GenesisGV80 is the brand's first-ever SUV for 2021. Based off the same platform as the new #Genesis G80, the #GV80 has the looks to make you think you bought a Bentley, an interior that would shame a lot of European luxury brands, and a price tag that will make you think you should have paid a lot more. The 3.5L twin-turbo V6 also makes 375 HP and paired with an 8-speed automatic and AWD, we imagine a lot of shoppers will be flocking to Genesis dealers when it goes on sale this November.

It's full-steam ahead at the Genesis brand. In 2020 they refreshed their flagship, launched an all-new G80 and the GV80 luxury CUV. In the next 12 months we'll see a heavily revised G70 and the second crossover from the up-start Korean brand. While some folks dissed Genesis a few years ago, the GV80 will make you wonder if the German options are really worth that much more...

The GV80 is an all-new mid-size crossover from Genesis, Hyundai's luxury brand. How comfortable and capable is this new entry? Ryan drives it on the highways, byways and trails of the Pacific Northwest to see just how good it is.
