Hey guys,

Is anyone hearing a whining wiper motor noise in their gv80?. Wondering if it's normal or I have a faulty unit

I tried to reply earlier, but don't see it here. While I have no noise at present, I picked up a chunk of ice on the left wiper blade and am curious as to how that will impact performance going forward. Good luck with your issue.

No Noise...only 1k miles on ours, not a lot of use yet...

I've now developed a 'click' at the top of the stroke. A bit curious, but not irritating---yet!

Does your fan run loud in idle when yoh hear the click?

No. I see no correlation between the two.

I used to have a whine coming from the passenger seat in our old car, but that's gone with the new GV80...

Yes, and it drives my wife nuts. I have a 2021 GV80 and when the radio is off, I can definitely hear the whine from the wiper motor. You’re not alone.
