I still haven't found an answer. I have a 2023 GV 80. When I have my iphone on bluetooth (NOT talking about using airplay), incoming calls don't ring through car speakers. I can see the incoming call on the screen, but the ringing is out of the phone.
Do other Iphone users get their calls coming in through the car speakers?

I have tried un pairing the phone from bluetooth then pairing it again-no change.
I know Android phones get incoming calls ringing through the car speakers.

You already posted the question...Double posting will not get you an answer any faster.
FWIW, I only use wireless CarPlay with an adaptor, and calls do ring through the speakers.

I was hoping that if I phrased it differently, I might get some definitive responses, oh well.....

Couple of thoughts. You didn’t specify what iPhone you have, but just verify you have all currently software updates on your device. Also, make sure when pairing that you are giving the system access to your phone for contacts etc. you will also want to verify the the volume settings for the phone ring through are setup. They are separate from the BT audio volume controls

also if you go device connections, verify that you are seeing a headset icon as well as the musical note icon.

Thanks, it's an iphone 12, and I've done all that. What I'm really trying to find out is if other people's iphones actually ring through the car speakers (on bluetooth, not Carplay), then if I find out that they do, I can try and figure out why mine doesn't.
