Someone who doesn't know any better might not be able to tell the two apart immediately.

Agree totally! I think our GV80 looks better as well.Yup, my GV80 was sitting right next to a Bentley at a restaurant a few months ago, and if you weren't looking closely, you would think they were twins. The emblems look like cousins. Despite the price difference, I think the GV80 looks nicer (of course I'm biased).
Unfortunately, the emblem looks dangerously close to the Chrysler. When I first got my GV80, I had someone ask me if I got a new car. I said, “yes”. He said, “oh, is it a Plymouth”? Needless to say I was a more than a little insulted! Granted, I do live in a small town. When I told him that it was a Genesis, he said “What’s a Genesis?” I tried to explain the whole luxury line thing, and finally ended with when Tiger Woods crashed, he was driving a GV80. Lord help us all 🙄Yup, my GV80 was sitting right next to a Bentley at a restaurant a few months ago, and if you weren't looking closely, you would think they were twins. I’ve gotten many compliments as well. My son bought a GV70 in June. We bought our GV80 in August. And my son’s boss bought a GV80 last week. We’re all very pleased!Plymouth? I think they ceased production in 2000 or so. Not sure I'd be insulted by someone who might be stuck in a time warp. I've received more compliments on my GV80 than any other I've ever owned, and I've had them all, including almost every mass-market premium brand made, like Merc, Lex, Jag, BMW, etc (and I still own some of those too). No regrets.
