My GV80 is still a couple of months away from delivery but my daughter (5) wants to try camping next spring - sleeping in the car in nature sounds extremely fun for her.
Question is, how long is the trunk with the 2nd row down? It won't be fully flat but do you think it would be possible to sleep in there, albeit rather uncomfortably? I'm 6'4 and expecting discomfort....the question is how impossible or ridiculous is it to consider a little camping trip?
Thanks for any insight you can share, even if it's bad news.

The distance from the back of the front seat to the front of the collapsed rear seat is 6". although the front seats can be moved forward a little more.. The distance from the front of the collapsed rear seat to the hatch is 68". As seen in the pictures, the collapsed seats are not flush with the rear of the vehicle. I have the 5-passenger version. Ignore the bird seed!

Thank you so much, this is really helpful! I couldn't find the information anywhere online.
I wont be able to lie straight but it might be worth the inconvenience for a fun experience. The 2nd row seats lie flatter than I expected too.
Well, when my car finally arrives I'll share some photos of a future camping trip.
Thanks again!

I say sleep in the passenger seat it lays back very nicely and she can sleep with the drive side rear seat down that way you can face each other. They also make a bed for SUV cars it’s inflatable. Have fun and watch out for bears lol

Yeah thanks for this. It's nice to know that I have other configuration options to consider. Will try it out when my car finally arrives. The 2022 models are starting to be delivered in Seoul these days so production seems to be going well.
