My 2021 GV80 stopped "coasting" about 3 months ago after working properly for this first 15 months of ownership. I had my worthless Genesis service department look into it and they said that it was working properly which tells me that they don't know the vehicle. When it is working, the MPG status bar on the dash would display "Coasting" when you took your foot off of the gas pedal (normally coasting down a hill). It no longer does this. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Genesis tech support just refered me back to the dealership. Thanks...

Are you saying your car does not coast any more, or just that the display does not say your coasting when you are coasting?

FWIW, it's easy to tell the difference: Without 'coasting', you can feel the drag from the transmission; with, it's 'free rolling'.

Thanks, I know what it is, I am just not sure if his car did not coast or he just did not see the coast on his display. I don't think my car has the coasting on the display as I have never seen it.

OK, I guess I know why I have never seen the Coasting on my dash. I found there was a setting to turn that on and mine if off.

Have you tried the coasting function? If so, does "Coasting" display on your dash? Thanks...

No, I am not even sure what it is. I just left it off as i don't use Eco mode, and from what I read, you have to use that for the coasting to work.
