Are any of you having issues with your Hyundai Dealerships (because there's only one stand-alone Genesis Dealer in America (or at least that was the case a few months ago). By "issues" let me say, I'm a blue-collar guy that has been lucky to have owned 4 Lexus' in the past decade, a BMW, and a Porsche. When my wife's last Lexus was due to be replaced, we took a leap of faith (and a bath price-wise) and purchased a loaded 2022 GV70 3.5TT Sport/Prestige Genesis. We were persuaded that Hyundai would bend over backwards to mimick the Lexus experience - yeah, not.
6k miles the CVB oil sender failed. Lots of heartburn and calls to Genesis Corporate- but, hey, 10 days in the shop and they did give us a loaner Subaru Outback. So many poor performers their corporate assured me they would address it.
12k miles- Today, the lane departure warning system failed and indicated we should get it to the dealer for them to diagnose it immediately. Then the steering wheel lights/controls failed (of course we are on a trip and called the dealership- no appointments available for 14 days. No loaner cars were available as they have them all accounted for several for cars with blown engines (Hyundai's), and we were told that in our circumstance- they would not provide a loaner anyhow as it was for a repair, and not service- Whaat??? A call to the salesperson and an exasperated response from him saying we had 3 years of concierge service with our car and of course we would be given a loaner and they should get the car off the road if it was having errors.
I certainly realize that all machines can break, but two failures in 12k miles doesn't create an "experience" of a quality brand and the piss poor customer service is the only thing consistent from Genesis.
