Are any of you having issues with your Hyundai Dealerships (because there's only one stand-alone Genesis Dealer in America (or at least that was the case a few months ago). By "issues" let me say, I'm a blue-collar guy that has been lucky to have owned 4 Lexus' in the past decade, a BMW, and a Porsche. When my wife's last Lexus was due to be replaced, we took a leap of faith (and a bath price-wise) and purchased a loaded 2022 GV70 3.5TT Sport/Prestige Genesis. We were persuaded that Hyundai would bend over backwards to mimick the Lexus experience - yeah, not.

6k miles the CVB oil sender failed. Lots of heartburn and calls to Genesis Corporate- but, hey, 10 days in the shop and they did give us a loaner Subaru Outback. So many poor performers their corporate assured me they would address it.

12k miles- Today, the lane departure warning system failed and indicated we should get it to the dealer for them to diagnose it immediately. Then the steering wheel lights/controls failed (of course we are on a trip and called the dealership- no appointments available for 14 days. No loaner cars were available as they have them all accounted for several for cars with blown engines (Hyundai's), and we were told that in our circumstance- they would not provide a loaner anyhow as it was for a repair, and not service- Whaat??? A call to the salesperson and an exasperated response from him saying we had 3 years of concierge service with our car and of course we would be given a loaner and they should get the car off the road if it was having errors.

I certainly realize that all machines can break, but two failures in 12k miles doesn't create an "experience" of a quality brand and the piss poor customer service is the only thing consistent from Genesis.

Agreed. We drove our new GV70 from Ohio to Maine for vacation. While in Maine, the check engine light came on. We tried to find a Genesis dealership near us. The closest was in another state, but they could not do anything for two weeks. The Hyundai dealerships we went to said they could not service a Genesis and that we would have to week several days for a service appointment. We call Genesis on an 800 number. They told us it would be dangerous to drive anymore. We had no options. We dove back to Ohio and to the dealership. They cleared the warning light the next day, saying it was a misfire. The light came back the following week. That time they gave us a loaner, and the following week they replaced some fuel injector parts. The next day it comes back on again for the third time. This time the car was at the Hyundai dealership for 10 days. They replaced a second fuel injector. There is no Genesis dealership near us in Ohio yet - only Hyundai. Love the car but hate that there is no true Genesis service near.

At least you got a loaner. Click that link I provided and read my rather long post explaining my nightmare. To address my issue they replaced a front camera, but drove my car 208 miles (114 first and 94 2nd visit) and kept it twice for a total of 18 days!

Genesis has a Hyundai problem.

God yes. To say they're horrible is insulting the word horrible: How's the Genesis car service center experience?
Thanks. I ripped Genesis corporate when our car had to have the VVT sensor went bad with 6,800 miles on it and the treatment we were abused with at the Hyundai/Subaru dealership we purchased the car from. After we were told to have it towed in and it was our responsibility to get it to them, but don't drive it as the engine light was flashing which is a sign of serious problems. Then the service advisors were terrible, management was apathetic, and corporate offered to send me a $250 gift card for the pain and suffering- you know, they never did send it. I told them they are selling a luxury brand vehicle to customers who are used to BMW/Lexus/Mercedes Benz/Audi level of service, not just a good car and they are missing the point of cattle car pushing owners in with Hyundai/Subaru owners (nothing wrong with them, they're just not paying luxury car prices). I told corporate that they are missing the mark and as a regular Lexus owner, I'd never buy another Genesis given our experience thus far.

Sorry man, I feel your pain. On the upside, after 4 days of error codes and lights out on the steering wheel- suddenly it cleared itself and works again... not exactly confidence inspiring.
