I am trying to register a new phone with the digital key and I'm having no success in that when I go through the setup process for the smartphone key it takes me all the way to the stage of putting the phone on the charger and selecting save on the dash and it states saving but then continuously says saving canceled. I cannot continue through completion. Any help would be terrifically appreciated

Android or iPhone? iPhone will NEVER work. Does not have correct chip.

It is an adroid and I have used THIS SAME phone for previous digital key. I transitioned to a Google pixel for a while and then back to this current phone. I had to remove the 'digital key' from this phone when I created a new one on the pixel. Did the same thing going back to this phone but it does not want to save! ODD!
