On my GV80, the righthand ¼ screen on the infotainment screen is scrollable to the compass.
It's on the GV60. It's one of the pop-up widget screens. It's selectable with the touch-enabled button on the right side of the steering wheel.THANKS FOR THE REPLY. SAW THE COMPASS ON A G80 LOANER.. NOT THERE ON GV60 WITH THE DASH OPTIONS ARE MANY MORE SCREENS.
Yes, it does....it is in the incredibly un-user friendly scroll button....there are, I think, three screens (by going up and down) that show things about the car, and within in those, moving sideways, there are more. That button on those widgets are NOT at all well implemented. My previous car, a 2016 VW golf had some widgets like that, which were MUCH MUCH easier to use, and had a separate button for up and down and another for sideways. Aside from it's just a clunky interface in general, I find it way too easy to accidentally change radio stations. Including to stations that I haven't even selected as favorites. In one of the Genesis How-to videos the moderator said he opened the compass feature while rolling throught ne widgets, I hve been unable to find a compass anything. Does my GV60 Advanced have a compass? . . . and how would I access it?
Turns out! I was wrong! I was sure my GV60 had a compass buried in a menu somewhere, but: it does not.Yes, it does....it is in the incredibly un-user friendly scroll button....there are, I think, three screens (by going up and down) that show things about the car, and within in those, moving sideways, there are more. On the UK cars at least if you bring up the widget tab cards and swipe left or right until you to the tyre pressure display (think it's that one), a swipe up or down will bring the compass.Turns out! I was wrong! I was sure my GV60 had a compass buried in a menu somewhere, but: it does not.
On my US car I cannot find one...but I THINK there was one, and it vanished in a software update. On the UK cars at least if you bring up the widget tab cards and swipe left or right until you to the tyre pressure display (think it's that one), a swipe up or down will bring the compass.
