My 3.5Advance with 16k miles is constantly locking itself regardless of whether the engine is running or not. I can back into my garage, shut off the engine, get out, shut the doors and when I return the doors are locked. There is no sound of the doors locking and the mirror is NOT folded in. This occurs about 1/2 the time. It also occurs even more often when I get out of the vehicle with the engine running. I usually have my 2 bullmastiffs with me so I leave them inside with the AC running only to return a few minutes later to find myself locked out. The key fob does nothing. My iPhone app will unlock the doors but that means standing there for 2 - 3 minutes. I've started leaving the driver's window down but that won't work in an Alabama summer. I've tried changing the settings back & forth, no help. Dealer isn't concerned which is a whole other issue. Thoughts?

are you sure the dogs are not stepping on the door lock switch in one of the armrests? That’s The only way I can think of that would fit your scenario.
